Great décor. Nice clean rooms. Nice pool. Beautiful outdoors. The restaurant needs some improvement. With all the Cabot wonderful products the only yogurt at the breakfast buffet was a chemical laden product. My scallops at dinner were great but others were not pleased with their dinners.

This hotel is our go to spot every time we visit Stowe. Just perfect in every way. Situated by beautiful surroundings. Great pool. Tons of activities for the kids and families to enjoy. Close to several hiking trails. Great staff, courteous and friendly. dozens of excellent restaurants within a 15 minute drive. You can't go wrong by making this hotel your home base while visiting the Stow area.

This beautiful property is well worth the trip in any season. However, our two day stay was marred by a series of minor inconveniences that should never have happened. I'll list them here: 1. Checked in to room to find an empty water bottle on the floor. Not a big deal. 2. Tried to call for room service but the phone had no dial tone. Had to call the front desk from my cell phone to have "Engineering" investigate. Turns out both room phones (corded and cordless) were incorrectly plugged in. 3. Had to do some laundry and didn't want to use the hotel's laundry service, so I went down to the self-serve laundry room. There was NO change machine in the laundry room (!) so I went back to the front desk to get change. They told me I had to go down the hall (not a short walk) to the "Game Room" to get change. Went back to the laundry room to find out I was a quarter short. Went back to the front desk again and asked if they had a quarter for the two dimes and a nickel. After digging through a pouch the Front Desk person put a quarter down and then asked me, "Is this a quarter?" I said yes and went back to the laundry room. 4. Maybe because I was tired after a 7 hour drive but the dryer had temperature select buttons on the left side which I pressed. After putting the money in there was a light that I thought was a button on the right side that said PRESS TO START. I pressed it several times but the dryer did not start. Another trip to the front desk to have "Engineering" check it out. It turns out the light was just telling me to press the PUSH TO START button on the left side at the bottom of the temperature select buttons. Like I said, I was tired but this setup was a little confusing. Did I mention there was NO change machine in the laundry room? 5. When returning to the room at some point the following day there was a flashing button on one of the phones that said PRESS TO RETRIEVE MESSAGES (or something similar). Pressed it several times (yes, it really was a button this time) but didn't hear any message. Called the front desk and they said I had to dial a certain four-digit number to retrieve messages (then why is there a flashing MESSAGE button?). Tried that but no success. Had to have "Engineering" come up to the room to assist. Turns out I was given the WRONG four-digit number to retrieve messages. And what was the message? They wanted to know if our phone was working properly (sigh!) For a property of this caliber they really need to up their game in regards to these minor inconveniences, so I can only give it a four out of five.

We had awesome two-night stay. Exceeded all our expectations. Husband and I are very pleased with the service. All are very friendly and helpful. Planning the next visit as soon as we left the resort.

Had and amazing time in Stowe with my 4 and 6 year old girls for our first girls only trip. Everything was amazing. The service, the rock climbing, the food, the pool, the gondola ride, the hidden "Enchanted forrest" playground and the kids spa. There was so much to do we didn't have to leave the property. It's by far one of my favorite places to go. The room was spacious, clean, and functional. The balcony overlooked the endless amount of green mountains. The setting was so peaceful and perfect. The staff was incredible, so helpful and accommodating. Shout out to Josh at Stowe who made sure our trip was perfect from start to finish. Can't wait to get back there to ski this winter.
