The hotel, its location and facilities are very nice. The staff members make the effort to provide very good service. Rooms are nice. Pool and common areas are not only nice but well kept. Summer time is well spent there. I imagine the same applies for other seasons. I dislike valet parkings but in this case, they're simply excellent.

We had the best day ever at Stowe Mountain Lodge! What a beautiful property! We began our day by going up to the top of the mountain.. we took the easy over gondola to the main gondola and went all the way up! What beautiful views of beautiful Vermont! We had a delicious lunch at Cliff House, the restaurant at the top, the service and the food were top notch! We watched several very brave souls take the zip line to the bottom... we felt like we lived through it with them as we watched from the special platform provided to do so! We then went down to the Lodge and had amazing massages at the spa! All the people we encountered, from the valet to the spa staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating! It was just so nice to walk around the property and shop in and out of all the shops! It was a day well spent, and I can't wait to go back again! What a super nice "girls day"!

We went to Stowe during the summer and enjoyed our visit at this well maintained resort. The grounds are well kept even during the "off-season" and compared to resorts in the Poconos, there's really no comparison. The prices are rather high, particularly for the gondola rides up to the top of the mountain as well as the extremely high priced ziplining down the mountain. I'd recommend checking out ArborTrek Canopy Adventures instead. Limited kids activities and the treetop adventure wasn't allowed for my younger daughter because she missed the age cutoff by 6 days. This despite being given the approval by the actual instructor due to her height and instruction comprehension levels. Pros: Heated outdoor pool that was clean and open till 10pm. Good meal options for breakfast (buffet is only on the weekends) Excellent WIFI Consistent turn-down service including opening up the sofa bed each evening. Cons: Pricey gondola and ziplining rides Not as many options for the kids vs. Smuggler's Notch

The experience at this resort was incredible. We would definitely go back and considering it soon. The rooms were amazing, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will say the Hourglass lounge was relatively busy and we sat at the end of the bar somewhat ignored at first. We were offered one menu and then other people sat next to us and were offered a more extensive menu which we would have preferred. The bartender did charge me for one too many drinks but at the point I noticed we were already back home. Oh well I should have caught it sooner. All in all a great experience and beautiful place.

Great location , nice hotel. Noise from air handling system unacceptable ,the room shook many times over night interrupting sleep. Little acknowledgment of problem . We would not return. Last time we were there this was not an issue.
