I recently stayed at the lodge for a 2 night midweek stay. This place is heaven on earth and oh so beautiful. I live about an hour away and though I am not as rich as 90% of the people that come to the lodge, I do make a special trip to the lodge JUST for the mountain golf course. Stowe mountain club is truly a unique experience that i would beg you to find another place like it. Each hole is unique and memorable. My experience each and every time I come here is phenomenal. Only complaint would be, prior to booking I purchased (2) unlimited golf passes and (1) green fee $150. Myself and other guy that purchased the unlimited golf were each charged $500 for the package. We golfed 3 times Tuesday and 2 times Wednesday. My dad had purchased the green fee and was teeing off with us wednesday morning. After we were all done he wanted to know how much a replay would be because we were going back out for another round. He was told by the golf club that because he purchased a green fee, he was essentially a "member for the day" so it would be no charge. I just don't get why we were charged $500 per unlimited golf package if all we had to do was purchase 2 green fees for $150 each. I don't regret spending the money, just would like to know for next time

Absolutely beautiful facility. Decor is beautiful. Friendly, helpful staff. Hope to return someday! Maybe next time in the winter as it must be superb that time of year. They made our first visit to Vermont a memorable experience.

The lodge was beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. The rooms were clean and spacious. Each staff person said hello and was very welcoming. Would highly recommend this resort for any type of business event.

I recently stayed 1 night there for a business meeting being held onsite at the lodge. From the moment I drove into the lodge arrival area to the moment I departed everything was handled professionally and their employees gracefully answered every questions and concern I had while going above and beyond. The décor is amazing and beautiful down to the smallest details being considered. The room I stayed in was clean, roomy and comfortable. I was located in a room on the second floor but at the far end of the building. The view was beautiful. A note that if you have concerns about walking far distances you may want to inquire in advance about the location of your room. It worked out fine for me but it was completely opposite our meeting room so there was a lot of walking back and forth to grab things. My hairspray had leaked in my suitcase and I was concerned about getting to their onsite store to purchase a replacement before they closed. They let me know that if they did close before I could make it over there the front desk could let me in to purchase what I needed. Wow what service. The lodge provided the food for the conference and it was outstanding and everyone in the group mentioned how great it was. The salmon & couscous was terrific and I wished I could have packed a take home container of the peaches and yogurt! My cell carrier At&t did not have coverage in my room but I did receive it in the lobby. That meant I had to use long distance from my room but since I had such a short stay and I really could have called on my cell from the lobby it would not keep me from returning. Just another FYI to think about. Loved it and I hope I can return for a longer stay outside of business!

My family loves this place. I mean that literally. It's not a hotel, it's a destination, it's a place. Stowe is naturally beautiful and the mountain lodge plays off the natural beauty with classy Vermont architecture. Every part of the property gives you an opportunity to take in the views and fresh mountain air. The lodge is immaculate and the staff is super friendly yet professional. They are very respectful of the guests and of Mother Nature. My wife and daughter love the pool area. It's also kept very clean like the rest of the property. The food is great with an even better drink selection. You're also only 12 minutes from one of the coolest breweries in America, The Alchemist, and 13 minutes from Piecasso, our favorite restaurant in the area.
