Willows Lodge is a fantastic base from which to explore the Northwest and surrounding Sammamish River Valley, which is home to over 80 wineries and tasting rooms. The region is ideal for hiking and bicycling, and for even more adventure try river rafting or kayaking on the Skykomish and Sammamish Rivers. Take to the sky with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride, or stay a bit lower in altitude at Adventura aerial adventure park, featuring ziplines, high-flying obstacles, and challenge courses. When it comes to exceptional cuisine, look no further than the impressive options that Willows Lodge has to proudly offer. The Barking Frog is highly regarded in the area, and specializes in American fare with Pacific Northwest influences, while AAA Five Diamond award-winning The Herbfarm Restaurant offers a multi-course dining experience focused on the bounty of the region. Both venues, of course, feature an extensive assortment of Washington wines, as does the ultra cozy Fireside lounge. I stayed at The Willows Lodge the evening of the Mycologists Dream mushroom dinner at The Herb Farm. Although staff was a bit iffy about allowing an early check in, it all worked out when I arrived. I really do think a 4 pm check in time is late for those attending Herb Farm dinners when tours start at 4 or 4:30 pm. The room was ultra comfy... loved the fireplace. The staff was super attentive and the impression I got was that they would do anything to make my visit a good one. I was even offered a glass of wine while I checked in. Nice people, classy Pacific Northwest decor.

This is one of the nicest resorts we have stayed in. The location is wonderful - in the heart of the Wine district, with many wineries all around for tasting and exploring. And let's not forget the breweries and the Whiskey distillery. But don't come here for all that, come for the peacefulness, the beauty of the gardens and the buildings, the exceptional rooms and the top-class service. We have traveled all over the world and this hotel is a jewel - one we want to come back to again and again - and we didn't go to a single winery etc, but we did take a couple of great bike tours and walks. For the quality of the services available, The Willows is more than worth the price.

While this property is a good distance from SeaTac, it is WORTH the drive to stay here. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is laid out in a manner that makes it feel very private and peaceful. The restaurant is great and the food that was served for the business breakfast and lunch for our group was outstanding (in particular your salads and vegetarian options just rocked it!). My room was cozy with a fireplace and a cool new feature sort of an in-room Siri that helps you with basic tasks like setting a wake up call, etc. The one drawback was the workout area and spa are being remodeled so for now they're not optimum but soon, when complete, they should be just as stellar as the rest of the property. Overall an excellent experience.

We had a wonderful week long stay at the lodge and I must say that I have never been more impressed with the quality of staff, accommodations, and amenities. I have lots of dietary concerns so eating out a lot is difficult. The staff arranged for a microwave in the room to help out. The staff were all very helpful in recommending tasting rooms and activities in the area. We booked the "nicer" room and were incredibly comfortable especially with the deep soaking tub, fireplace and balcony. It was also great fun to sit at the fire side lounge in the evening to sip wine and nibble inn a amazing cheese plate. All that we wanted for a week was quiet and relaxation... we got that in spades! Thanks to the staff (especially Megan for her concierge help and Alex for being an all around good guy). We will definitely stay here again for a getaway! :)

Stayed here for business, but would happily recommend this for business or pleasure! Everyone at the front desk was exceptionally kind and proactively helpful. Being from the east coast, I often complain about service in Seattle. This was a welcomed exception!
