In the mystically beautiful Pacific Northwest, Willows Lodge is a fittingly ideal sense of calm and comfort. This award-winning retreat, located in Washington's scenic Woodinville Wine Country, is nestled among verdant gardens on five gorgeously landscaped acres, all less than an hour outside of Seattle. Just under 90 rooms and suites are built with decidedly Northwest style, featuring hardwood, stone fireplaces, natural color palettes, and rustic elegance. Private patios or balconies are included with every space, as are deep soaking tubs, Australian lambs wool mattress pads, goose down pillows, and European-style duvets. Modern amenities are present and accounted for, including HDTVs, wireless Internet access, fully stocked refrigerators, and towel warmers. The Spa at Willows Lodge offers even more indulgences, with a variety of revitalizing services designed to sooth your body and mind. Unwind in the steam room or hydrotherapy pool before your treatment, then pamper your senses with a Lomi Lomi massage, detoxifying body wrap, Carita facial, or hot stone pedicure. At Willows Lodge, your comfort is paramount and your time is preciously spent.

Willows Lodge is a fantastic base from which to explore the Northwest and surrounding Sammamish River Valley, which is home to over 80 wineries and tasting rooms. Arrange a tour of the local venues, or opt to get out into the greens with a round of golf on any of several area courses. The region is ideal for hiking and bicycling, and for even more adventure try river rafting or kayaking on the Skykomish and Sammamish Rivers. Take to the sky with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride, or stay a bit lower in altitude at Adventura aerial adventure park, featuring ziplines, high-flying obstacles, and challenge courses. When it comes to exceptional cuisine, look no further than the impressive options that Willows Lodge has to proudly offer. The Barking Frog is highly regarded in the area, and specializes in American fare with Pacific Northwest influences, while AAA Five Diamond award-winning The Herbfarm Restaurant offers a multi-course dining experience focused on the bounty of the region. Both venues, of course, feature an extensive assortment of Washington wines, as does the ultra cozy Fireside lounge. For a getaway that feels worlds away, yet is right within your reach, visit Willows Lodge for a memorable and thoroughly relaxing experience.

I thought this place was a little expensive when I booked it, but srsly after this weekend we had there, it makes me want to cry that I can't afford to live here like full-time. The lodge is so pimp, and the rooms like a ridiculously stylish penthouse suite. The barking frog was honestly the best meal of my life. Eleven stars.

entering the lobby is always a relaxing moment. love the wine taste at check in and sitting out on our room balcony. we stayed for a concert at the winery and this could not have been MORE convenient. Our only problem is that we could not stay longer and enjoy the spa, dining and comfortable beds!

I travel a lot without my spouse. It's rare that I call him to say, "Honey, we're coming back to this place." This joins the list of maybe three places that have received the honor. The setting is flawless. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and smell great (a big deal for me, if you've read any of my other reviews.) Don't miss the hot tub! I almost did.

There are hotels, where the staff tries to meet their guest's expectations because they work for tips. Then, there are hotels where the staff exceed their guest's expectations because it's what they love to do. Willows Lodge is the latter. Sprinting valets, tag-teaming front desk attendants, smiling housekeepers are all anticipating your next need or desire. Throw in an outstanding restaurant, impeccable grounds and comfortable rooms and you've got the perfect place to stay. One of my favorite, ever.

I booked this as a 65th birthday gift for myself :-) The staff was helpful, the room was beautiful and my spa treatment was amazing. We also enjoyed the gardens and walking paths around the lodge. We spent one day just doing wine tastings, which was fun. All the places were within walking distance.
