Q. How do I register?
A. From our home page, simply click on the REGISTER link on the upper right, and fill in your information in the spaces provided. Please be sure to make a note of your username and password for future reference. Be certain to safeguard your password from unauthorized use. You will be responsible for bids placed using your username and password.

Q. How do I access "My Account"?
A. Your customized "My Account" page provides links to "Update Account Info" or "Update Preferences". Simply click on the appropriate link. "Update Account Info" includes Personal Information, Shipping Information, or Billing Information/Credit Card Information. "Update Preferences" includes all your favorite destination, travel styles, or other preferences.

Q. What qualifies a property to be included in a Luxury Link Auction?
A. Luxury Link has created a partnership committee which validates all properties. The Luxury Link Partnership Committee qualified the level of service, pricing in retrospect to the local competitors, quality of the property and overall reputation before allowing them to participate in an auction package.

Q. How are "Buy Now" Offers different from Auctions?
A. The 'Buy Now' package offers can be purchased at a fixed price without bidding. They also provide greater flexibility and less risk as the packages are only billed after the travel dates are validated. They are usually refundable based on property approval. Auctions on the other hand, usually start at up to 65% off retail prices and provide the excitement of bidding in the attempt to win the best deal possible. Auctions are not refundable and dates are booked after the auction is closed and the transaction completed.

Q. What flexibility in travel dates exists with the Auctions?
A. When Auctions are created, the validity date ranges are purposely set very wide in order to accommodate the largest audience. Should your preferred date range be narrow, it is highly recommended you contact the property and validate availability BEFORE making a bid. Neither Luxury Link nor the property can guarantee that specific travel dates will still be available when the auction closes, but you can get a good idea of availability by asking how many rooms are open in your preferred date range. Be sure to mention the type of room that is included in the auction. Once you win the Auction, reservations are made through the Luxury Link Travel Concierge.

Luxury Link sells travel packages that include accommodations for a specified number of nights, plus additional amenities such as meals, airport transfers, spa services or activities (each package is different and there's lots of variety).

There are two ways to buy travel on our website - Auctions and Buy Now offers. Many Luxury Link travel packages have both options available. Before you decide which choice to make, click below to see the full details and rules for each option.

1. Auctions

Bid on a package without choosing specific dates, then use it anytime during its valid period for travel. We'll help you book reservations as soon as you win, or whenever you decide you're ready to choose dates. Auctions are our best deals and present opportunities to get the absolute lowest prices, but it's best to be flexible with your travel dates.

2. Buy Now Offers

Enter your specific dates first for a package, then we'll help make the reservations. You only pay if your dates are available. Buy Now offers are priced slightly higher than Auctions, but the benefit is securing your dates before you buy.

It's free to register on Luxury Link, and takes only a few minutes. Registering is the only way to participate in Auctions or request Buy Now offers. Just use the Sign In or Register links at the top of the page. Or follow the registration instructions that appear on your screen when you enter and place a bid.

Here are the basics about registering with Luxury Link:

• Your valid email address and contact information are important, and will be used to send package details and reservation confirmations when you purchase travel. Your information won't be used for undisclosed reasons and it won't be sold for marketing purposes.

• Luxury Link only requires you enter your credit card information if are bidding on an Auction or requesting a Buy Now package.

• You must register before you can bid on any Auction or request any Buy Now package.

• Your username will be displayed to everyone when you bid on Luxury Link packages. It will also appear on posts you make to the Community. Be sure to choose your username wisely.

• Registering gives you the opportunity to participate in contests and share on our Community, so get started now!

 

By accessing the My Account section when you are logged in, you can track Auctions and Buy Now offers in which you're participating.

Manage your email subscriptions by clicking on Update Account Info.

You can also use the Update Account Info section to edit your contact information or add a credit card to your account.

It's easy for anyone to place a bid. Just follow these steps.

• Once you're a registered Luxury Link member, carefully review the package and its valid travel dates. Make sure you read the Booking Conditions for any applicable restrictions or fees.

• Enter your maximum bid in the box on the page and click the Place Bid button. Luxury Link will automatically bid against other bidders on your behalf, all the way up to the maximum amount you entered. (The minimum amount you may enter is indicated just beneath the bid box). The only EXCEPTION to this practice is on our Mystery Auctions. Mystery Auctions do not qualify for automatic bidding - if you receive an outbid notice, you must manually update your bid.

• You'll be prompted to enter your credit card information if we don't already have it on file. Remember, each bid you place is a binding agreement, and if you win the Auction you're obligated to purchase the package.

You'll receive an email confirming your bid. If you're the highest bidder at the close of the auction, you will get another email indicating you are the winner, and it will outline the next steps.

In order to allow everyone a chance to place last-minute bids, all auction close times will automatically extend by 5 minutes should a bid be placed within 5 minutes of the set close time. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact us for assistance.

Here are the most important things to remember about all Luxury Link Auction packages:

• All packages are subject to availability.

• For all Luxury Link Auction packages, there is no guarantee prior to purchasing your package that your primary choices for travel dates will be available. We will do our best to help you confirm the dates you want when we help you with your reservation. Remember, Auctions are opportunities to get our best deals, and it's best to be flexible with your travel dates in return.

• Auctions are nonrefundable. Understand that placing a bid is a commitment to purchase the package.

• All reservations must be made online through Luxury Link. Submit your travel dates by clicking on the link in your winning confirmation email.

• Packages are not valid to replace existing hotel reservations, and may not be combined with any other promotion.

• Luxury Link charges a nonrefundable handling fee, which is outlined clearly in each package's Booking Conditions.

A Buy Now offers means you don't have to bid to purchase the travel packages. Instead, you submit your desired dates to Luxury Link, and we work with the hotel to confirm your reservation.

• Once you're a registered Luxury Link member, carefully review the package and its valid travel dates. Make sure you read the Booking Conditions for any applicable restrictions or fees.

• Enter your travel dates in the fields provided. You can also enter alternate dates if you'd like. Then click the Submit button.

• You'll be prompted to enter your credit card information if we don't already have it on file. We will only charge your card if the primary dates you entered are available for the package to be booked. Entering alternate dates allows us to check on a second choice should your primary dates be unavailable (we'll contact you before confirming alternate date reservations).

 

Here are the most important things to remember about all Luxury Link Buy Now packages:

• All packages are subject to availability.

• For all Buy Now packages, your requested travel dates are confirmed and guaranteed before you are charged.

• Buy Now packages may be refunded, but are subject to the property's specific change/cancellation policies, as well as Luxury Link's change/cancellation policies. Luxury Link charges are outlined below.

For all Luxury Link Buy Now packages, your requested travel dates are confirmed and guaranteed before you are charged.

The amenities, activities and features that Luxury Link describes under the property's general information may be subject to additional charges, availability or seasonality. For example, some of the amenities we list under the hotel's descriptions may not be available in every room type, or in the room type associated with a particular package on Luxury Link.

You can always check the exact package inclusions and the hotel's website to know what to expect.

The refund policy for a particular package depends on whether it was purchased as a result of winning an Auction or from a Buy Now request.  

Auctions

• Upon the auction close, the winning bidder will receive an Auction Winner Confirmation email.  In that email is a link to submit preferred travel dates.  These can be submitted whenever the winner is ready.
• Once you submit your preferred dates, we will contact the hotel on your behalf to secure the reservation. All packages are subject to availability of the room type listed in the package, as well as validity dates and blackout dates (if any).
• We do not provide refunds on Auctions.  If we are unable to secure your preferred travel dates due to room availability, please contact the Luxury Link concierge and we will work with the hotel or try to accommodate your travel plans in some other way.

Buy Now

• When you submit a Buy Now Request, we ask for your preferred travel dates.  If your dates are available, we will secure your reservation, charge your credit card, and send you a Booking Confirmation email.  In the case that your dates are unavailable, we will send you an email to let you know and your credit card will not be charged and work with you to accommodate different dates.
• Buy Now packages are refundable, but are subject to the specific change/cancellation policies of the hotel (contact the Luxury Link Concierge for details), as well as Luxury Link's change/cancellation policies , less the $40 Luxury Link handling fee charged at time of booking.
• CANCELLATIONS
  • A $35 cancellation fee will be charged if a cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to check-in.
  • A $100 cancellation fee will be charged if a cancellation is made within 15 days of check-in.

Luxury Link guarantees the package inclusions.

Once you purchase a package, your email receipt will restate the specific items included, exactly as they appeared on Luxury Link. We guarantee that when you travel you will receive everything to which your package entitles you. You're not required to pay the property an additional amount for the inclusions of your package, unless otherwise stated in the package's terms.

Some package inclusions - such as airport transfers, spa appointments and dinner reservations - require advance reservations. It's important that you contact the hotel directly prior to traveling to make these arrangements. Although Luxury Link is responsible for coordinating the reservation of your travel dates, it is up to you to make any necessary reservations for specific activities or services.

Any unused portion of a package is not refundable. All package inclusions must be used at time of travel, unless otherwise noted.

A credit card may be required upon check-in to cover any incidental room charges or for security purposes.

Luxury Link works hard to make sure that the retail values we display are accurate.

Retail value is based on a property's standard room or package rates at the time we first publish our offer. The amounts listed on Luxury Link may not reflect promotional or discount rates offered elsewhere. The retail value of a package may also be incrementally lower during certain periods within the travel dates, based on seasonal pricing. If you see a retail value on our site that you think is inflated, let us know.

You are responsible for passports, visas, health requirements and travel insurance. Luxury Link is not responsible for researching or obtaining passport, visa or health requirements. You are fully accountable for obtaining all documents and immunizations necessary to complete your travel. Keep in mind that requirements often vary for citizens of different countries. Make sure to gather information well in advance.

Packages may not be resold without expressed permission from Luxury Link.

Packages may not be combined with other promotions offered by third parties or the hotel itself.

A credit card may be required upon check-in to cover any incidental room charges or for security purposes.

From time to time, Luxury Link will create promotional codes for use by customers. Each promotional code may have its own rules for use. Additionally, there are rules and restrictions which apply to our refer-a-friend program and gift certificates.
