St Giles Hotel New York – The Tuscany & the Court: The Perfect Pair for a Holiday Escape

New York during the holidays should be on every traveler’s list. The holiday lights, window shopping, skating in Rockefeller Center – it brings this most festive season to life. One of our favorite hotels in the city is the St Giles Hotel New York – actually two hotels right next to each other – The Tuscany & the Court. I had the opportunity to stay at the boutique hotel and interview Bonnie Somerstein, Director of Sales and Marketing to find out what makes this property truly unique.

Henson: “What makes the St Giles Hotel New York perfect for a holiday getaway?”

Somerstein: “In two words unsurpassed service! There is a sense of personalization in all we do here. Guests at a larger hotel may get lost in the shuffle, but at the St Giles Hotel New York, our team is dedicated to service and personalization. Our team is always smiling and happy to help guests create the perfect getaway. The holidays can be an amazing time in the city and we help make it an unforgettable experience for our guests!”

Henson: “What sets the St Giles Hotel New York apart from other hotels?”

Somerstein: “The St Giles Hotel New York is two hotels – The Court and The Tuscany. Unlike most hotels in the city, St Giles is located in a residential neighborhood on a beautiful tree lined street. What you find here that you won’t find in other hotels is space. Our rooms range from 400 -750 sq feet- a rarity in the city.”

Henson: “What is a holiday must-see?”

Somerstein: “Our guests are within walking distance of two of the best holiday markets in the city. Travelers can find the holiday markets at Grand Central Station with more than 70 vendors, as the holiday shops in Bryant Park. Our guests love to roam around the city – see the lights and find unique treasures.”

I was very lucky to meet up with Bonnie Somerstein as her team announced the renovation of the Tuscany. The redesign will have all the accommodations you would expect from a luxury hotel, with the unique architecture of a rustic Tuscan décor infused with a modern touch. Here is a sneak peak at some of the new décor!

I found the St Giles Hotel New York – The Tuscany & the Court to be a perfect way to take in the beauty and energy of one of America’s greatest cities. Enjoy your stay and take advantage of the holiday festivities!

P.S. Make sure to say hello to Shane at the front desk and sample some of the afternoon desserts at the front desk!
