Drew Marich in Sedona

Drew Marich, Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Luxury Link, Mr. Marich served in several key executive positions at eBay Inc. from 2001 to 2007. Most recently, Mr. Marich was the general manager of eBay’s Rent.com subsidiary, the leading online apartment listing site with nearly four million unique visitors monthly. In addition, Mr. Marich oversaw the management of several multi-billion dollar eBay businesses, such as Sports, Collectibles and Toys. Prior to his tenure with eBay, Mr. Marich was an early employee of MVP.com, cofounded a catalog/Internet food company and has held positions with McKinsey & Company, Del Monte Foods and Citigroup’s Smith Barney. Mr. Marich received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a MBA from the Wharton School, at the University of Pennsylvania.


Diane McDavitt in London

Diane McDavitt, President

Ms. McDavitt was a member of the Luxury Link launch team, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the luxury travel industry to the Company. Prior to joining Luxury Link, she held senior sales and marketing roles with prominent luxury travel companies including Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, a leading 5-star hotel owner/operator. As part of the initial team selected to grow Rosewood’s worldwide sales infrastructure, she personally led the regional sales and marketing efforts for the western United States for seven years. Ms. McDavitt has a keen understanding of the primary disciplines within the travel industry, having held key roles with Air New Zealand, Aloha Pacific Cruises and Pacific Dateline Tours. Ms. McDavitt has been a regular guest speaker at numerous industry events including the annual Association of Travel Marketing Executives meeting, the Leading Hotels of the World annual congress, and the annual e-Tourism Summit. She was named one of the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Women Making a Difference” finalists in 2003. Ms. McDavitt received her Bachelors degree in sociology with minor studies in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara.


Brian Scott at Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Prior to joining Luxury Link as CFO in 2002, Mr. Scott served as Vice President of Finance at Capital Management Sciences, a leading database/software analytics firm for the financial markets. Mr. Scott gained additional experience at both Ernst & Young, LLP and Comedy III Entertainment where he served as a CPA. Mr. Scott received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Management Systems Analysis from California State University, Northridge.


Ken Green at Fire Island

Ken Green, SVP, Advertising and Travel Sales

Prior to joining Luxury Link, Mr. Green held several managerial and sales positions with The New York Times Company. At The New York Times newspaper, Mr. Green was the Managing Director of Classified Advertising sales primarily focused on real estate, recruitment, and autos revenues. Most recently, he was Group Director of Advertising Sales at New York Times Digital, with revenue responsibility for national advertising sales as well as revenue and product responsibility for all of the online classified categories. Before working at The New York Times, Mr. Green was a Senior Financial Analyst at Thomson McKinnon and before that a senior internal auditor at Merrill Lynch & Company. Mr. Green has a Masters of Business Administration from Hofstra University, and is vice-president on the Board of Directors of the Stonewall Community Foundation and Board President of Generation Next (a fund to support Gay and Lesbian youth services).


Bob Bennett in Cabo San Lucas

Bob Bennett, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bennett is responsible for Luxury Link’s Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Design, Merchandising, Customer Service, and IT functions.  Prior to joining Luxury Link, Mr. Bennett led the product and technology teams at the Rubicon Project, an Ad Network Optimization startup. Before that, Mr. Bennett was the Senior Vice President of Product Development at Ticketmaster, where he led Product Mgmt, Marketing & Design of Ticketmaster’s global websites and client web-based tools and was responsible for their 2,100 retail locations. A 13 year internet veteran, Bennett has also held senior online positions with eToys, the Web's top children's retailer at the time; Jackson National Life, a Top 20 life insurer; and Union Bank. Bob earned a double major in History and Political Science at the University of California, Davis.


Richard Hastings at Yosemite

 

Richard Hastings, Senior Director, Technology & Product Development

Prior to joining Luxury Link in 2005, Mr. Hastings held several hands-on development and architecture positions, utilizing his strong open source background for companies such as  Zentropy Partners/MRM Worldwide, Westonmason and Mediaologie.  He also completed several consulting engagements for clients including Paula Abdul and Creative Domain.  Richard started with Luxury Link as a software engineer consultant, and quickly became part of the core technology team. He currently holds the role of Senior Director, Technology & Product Development, leading all aspects of site development, engineering, information systems and IT operations.  Richard has a passion for applying technology to achieving the best user experience possible.
