I too have been considering Laluna for quite some time now, but now I am not so sure. I have definately not ruled it out, but as there are so many places I want to visit, I too think I may just put it down the list a bit. Thank you for being so honest in your report.

you have to understand that we are very jaded travellers. We have been fortunate enough to have stayed at some of the world's best hotels and resorts. So, I posted my impressions based on that very high set of standards.
Mountie, we decided on Grenada because it was a good mix of beach and lush greenery - lots of stuff to do besides just hanging out which makes me crazy after a while. Laluna was chosen, honestly because it looked beautiful from the pictures and we were able to get such a good deal on the auction. Hope this helps to clarify.

Thank you for your excellent first-hand report. I am sorry for you that Laluna was not all that it was cracked-up to be. However I am glad that we decided not to buy the package a while back while we were toying with the idea to go there. After reading your report, we certainly will stay away from this resort.
