Nestled on 12 acres in the Bel-Air Estates neighborhood of Los Angeles, the iconic Hotel Bel-Air is one of the most beautiful, romantic, and exclusive hotels in the world. Its flawless service, luxurious accommodations, rich history and magical ambiance make it a truly unique hotel. From the moment guests cross the bridge the magical ambiance provides a setting unlike any other. The 12 acres of lush gardens allow the guests to relax and get away from their hectic lifestyles.
The familiar Spanish Colonial architecture splashed in “Bel-Air Pink” is still present, with a new generation of Bel-Air aesthetic reflected through different design themes representing the glamorous eras of Los Angeles’ 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s conveyed in a fresh, youthful and elegant manner.
Each of the 103 guestrooms and suites have 10 different design themes with each room having its own unique footprint. Hotel Bel-Air embraces the true essence of luxury.
Priding itself on impeccable service and spectacular accommodations, the 12-acre estate, located in a wooded canyon near Beverly Hills, is home to a collection of over 200 botanical species, providing an ideal setting and one of a kind landscape.
Things you may have not known about the Hotel Bel-Air:
Swan Lake has been present at Hotel Bel-Air since we opened in 1946. The Hotel Bel-Air has three residential Polish Mute swans that live on property. Their names are Chloe, Athena, and Hercules. Marilyn Monroe posed for photographer Bert Stern at Hotel Bel-Air just 6 weeks prior to her tragic death. The 1962 shoot commissioned by Vogue resulted in thousands of images and a published book, The Last Sitting.
Travel to Los Angeles is pleasant all year long, but it never hurts to book a stay during award season – you never know who you may run into!
