Just returned from a wonderful holiday to Argentina. Flew AA via Santiago to Mendoza. (used Admirals Club pass in Miami and Santiago and was quite pleased. Great relaxation, drink, showers, and snacks.)

We went to Chacras de Coria (had stayed there in January and loved the location). Stayed at Finca Adalgisa. This property is a small working vineyard. We loved it! We enjoyed tapas and wine in the vineyards each evening.. (included in your price!) (please LL-add this property!) We took their bikes and visited Weinert winery and LaGarde winery. We were fortunate to have private tours. Lovely! We enjoyed lunch at Clos de Chacras. Beautiful wine pairing menu. What a life!!!

We then flew to Bariloche directly from Mendoza and stayed at the LL property "Charming Lodge." The lodge is directly on the lake in Northern Patagonia. We were given the ground floor room (handicap room) We were a little taken back by the room and realized we had no heat (it was about 40 degrees.) The staff worked to fix it. We were told no other rooms were available. We were taken back because other guests had told us they were upgraded! We really enjoyed the property but did have a little bad taste in our mouth. Our included dinner was not as expected. We were told it was fine to eat earlier (7pm). When we arrived for our "special dinner" nothing was ready!! It went downhill from there so we didn't finish eating and left. Maybe we should have been more vocal but that is not our style. We really did love the property so it is mixed that I write this. The woman manager was absolutely amazing. So loving and helpful. Everyone really tried. In the area, we did visit many scenic sites and got around by the local bus. Great place.

We then flew to Buenos Aires. We stayed at the BOBO (an LL property.) OH MY GOODNESS....absolutely amazing and attentive service. The staff was so efficient and helpful. Our room was lovely with a great balcony. Just loved the BOBO experience. We enjoyed the included 5 course wine pairing meal. SUPER amazing. So perfect and so good. We cannot speak more highly of the Bobo. We did not have to ask or beg for service; it was part of the experience. LL-you have a real gem there!!

Argentina was a great experience. The country is going through serious inflation issues that have affected some of the people we met. Costs have increased since our visit in January/February. I still highly recommend a visit. We can't wait to go again!!
