Good news: I don't have to go to Global Entry to get reprinted--they only use 4 fingers for ID.
Bad news: I'm losing half my right thumb in a few weeks. Amputation is the only option for me to get healthy again.
Good news: We're still going to South Africa in 6 wks.

Bad puns abounding; the title is a major groaner, but no apologies!. My grandfather was a master at bad puns. When he and my grandmother went to Paris, he said he walked around so much that day his "feet were Eiffel T'ard".
My brother doctor commented about the final recourse, "It's out of your hand."

Not much more to say. I can't let this stop my travels. We have places to see. I can hitch a ride on Delta or a few other airlines--won't be thumbing on the road.
