With its singular location on The Point of Grace Bays beautiful 12-mile beach, on the island of Providenciales in the British West Indies, Point Grace is spectacularly secluded. A tranquil beachfront setting provides the backdrop for the romantic suites and penthouses, whose dcor captures the flavor of yesteryear. Inspired by classic British Colonial architecture, this divine retreat unites tradition with 21st-century luxuries, such as Graces Cottage, an elegant restaurant showcasing the regions strong ethnic influences.

Named after Grace Hutchings, who visited here on her honeymoon in 1892, the bay and its surroundings seem untouched by time. Savor the magnificent views as you enjoy a treatment at The Thalasso Spa at Point Grace Resort. Magnificent coral reefs appeal to scuba divers and snorkelers, while marine parks, conch farms and wildlife reserves delight nature lovers. Whether out to sea on a fishing expedition, or golfing and gallery hopping on dry land, you will marvel at the islands wealth of diverse activities.

Regarding Point Grace on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos, the facility is beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the staff was extremely kind.

I am a repeat visitor to Providenciales having stayed at Grace Bay beach at other places. Point Grace is well located on the Beach and I have not been inside but hear great things about it. There are many fine resorts and restaurants in the area. The quality of service and accomodation on this Island just keeps getting better.

    Long Story short

Beautiful relaxing Beach..just far enough away from the crowded Hotels to enjoy yourself...yet close enough to go to all the great restaurants!!!

Staff was great! Go have dinner with Roan @ Grace's Cottage!

Internet was down...but staff(Mary) was nice enough to let me use her computer at the front desk.

Rooms was well appointed, Great bed and robes... I am not big on cooking, but after 80 dollar lunches for 2 with no alcohol, you might want to use it!!!

Rent a Jeep and check out the Amnayara...for a 18 dollar cocktail and the amazing view...if you can find it

My husband and I just returned from Point Grace. Turks and Caicos have earned the reputation of being by far the most beautiful beach area in the world. The island of Providenciales is wonderful; small but developed just enough to give you lots of options for activities. Point Grace was great. The staff truly was outstanding; Grace's Cottage was such a romantic dinner setting(food was five stars). A package from Luxurylink is an incredible bargain.

My wife and I have been to Provo 65 times in the last 4four years. It does have a magnificent beach, but over-building has literally shadowed the sand. It isn't yet Miami, but it is leaning that way. Since everything on the island has to be imprted, food is expensive. And usually over-priced, unless you know where to eat. Avoid the high=profile hotel restaurants--all of them. There's one place that announces "award-winning conch chowder." The claim is valid. And the other food served there--I can picture it my mind but can't think of the name--is also very good. At Point Gracve, try and get the cottage suites. No view of the sea, but much cheaper than the one-bedrooms and luxurious enough to please most. (Anothert good and good valiue restaurant isreached this way. Leave The Palms resort through the beach exit, turn right, up the beach, and the first restaurant you come to--a sort of house with a veranda, is very good.
One thing you can do on Provo you can't do everywhere is snuba, a kind of entry level scuba for which you don't need cvertification. The lady who runs it--Jodi Taylor--is on the beach around Coral Gardens. Most anyone can direct you to her. (She's and ex-pat from Canada, and great at making eveb beginners comfortable with underwater exploration.) Rent a car for one day (at least) and explorte where the tourists don't go, the otherside of the island. If you have the time, plan a one-day or two-dat trip to some of the opther islands. Catch them before they too become high-pricved hotels that obliteratye local charm. I'm not sour on the islands. Just disappointed at what greed has done to them.

I absolutely agree within everything said above. So much so that I ,too, can't remember the name of the restaurant that proclaims itself as the winner of the best conch chowder. It is in a small hotel, and there is a rear room with a/c, and a front "room" that spills out onto a poolside area. If you rent a car, you might explore the Blue Hills area, and have lunch at Da Conch Shack, about as authentically local as you can get. In truth, part of the sadness about the T&C is that there is very little local left. Too much of the scene is calculated to remind you of, say, Miami, or what Vegas might think a Caribbean island would be like. But again, in your car, head for the (still?) undeveloped other side of the island. The roads were a bit rough, but your car will get you there and back. You can still find beaches with only gulls and terns. The downside is there are no services whatsoever. Oh, and snubaing with Jodi Taylor is not to be missed. For good experiences on top of the water, there is a Canadian chap whose tour desk is on the beach near the Regent Palms, Pleasant, honest, and srcupulous about hiring reliable crews. A typical small boat tour would include a bit of snorkeling and a free dive for conch which your skipper will prepare while you wander on the beach of an isolated island looking for shells. If you are thinking about going to Provo, go quickly--before the whole place sinks into the sea under the weight of all that concrete.
