We were especially pleased by the Young Island Resort, where we spent 7 very relaxing days. The food and staff services were excellent... we felt quite spoiled. We had our own private plunge pool and patio and so enjoyed complete isolation. There were also lots of fun destination trips from the resort - climbing a volcano, trekking to a huge waterfall, snorkeling, puddle jumping to other islands, and lots of scuba diving. It was a perfect combination of activity and relaxation.

We traveled to Young Island Resort in St. Vincent, West Indies. The resort was exquisite. It was so tranquil and relaxing. The natural beauty of the island along with the magnificent treatment that the staff provides made it the ultimate getaway. We are definitely planning to return again and have recommended it to everyone we know.

Young Island was everything you described and more. It is a great place to go and get away and just relax. Probably the greatest asset the island has is the staff. They are very courteous, polite and anticipate your every need without breathing over you. You feel that you are a very special person.

Young Island is lovely. I would recommend the stay/sail program. I spent my 10 year wedding anniversary here. The cottages are beautiful and quite private. Nice tennis courts. The sailing was beautiful. We stayed overnight in Bequia and Mustique. Great staff and fantastic food!!!!

My husband and I spent some time at the Young Island Resort. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, sailing, snorkeling, kayaking and playing tennis. There is so much activity you can choose from. The cottage was comfortable, the food was excellent and we loved the rum punches and the view. The staff was very friendly and eager to help.

My wife and I stayed there last Oct and loved the atmosphere generated by resort but most importantly by the staff. It's a unique spot in that it also serves as the nicest meeting place on (off) St. Vincent so there is an additional energy generated.

My wife and I stayed here last October. We both have never had a place make us fill like we were home yet on vacation like this place. This is a magical spot on the earth and it beauty is high lighted by the awesome staff and absolutely wonderful food.

We have stayed at Young Island twice, once in '97 and then again May '06. The resort is just as charming now as it was back then! Do splurge on a room with a plunge pool. Taking a bottle of wine back to your room to enjoy in your pool is so relaxing. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay special. They even baked me a cake on my birthday!
Beautiful beach, great snorkling offshore and wonderful, romantic meals make for a memorable stay. I'll be back again.

We were on Young Island from April 1-9, 2007, and it truly is a paradise. The food was excellent, the people were wonderful, the accomodations were clean and well maintained. If you can walk steps, I can't recommend highly enough room #30 at the top of the hill. Private plunge pool and pure serenity. And, walking all the steps helps you feel less guilty about all the wonderful food you'll eat, especially the fresh baked bread! We can't wait to go back!

Just back from Young Island and I can't tell you how perfect it was. We couldn't improve on this vacation in any way. Even though I know it will mean more competition for the auctions I just have to praise them. The staff is outstanding. We felt taken care of. We had room #9 and if you don't want steps or don't need a pool or a living room it was perfect, best view of the mainland, breezes and waves laping overnight I will really miss. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can. The food was wonderful, everything was just great!

The wife and I just spent a gloriously relaxing week at Young Island. The food was outstanding and the service beyond reproach. We stayed in cottage 5 and were a mere 15 feet from where surf meets sand. Very secluded yet there was the opportunity to socialize if you wanted. I will definately miss hearing the surf at night. This will be one that we will have to revisit again and again.

We were there 12/28/2007 - 1/4/2008. It was a really good place to stay. The food was particularly terrific. I dove with some friends using Dive St. Vincent which is owned by Bill Tewes. We stayed in Hut 7 right by the pool. OH, the best pizza on the planet is at the Barefoot Yacht Club.

The only problem we had was LIAT airlines and I don't have enough bad things to say about this airline. They stranded us an extra day both coming and going and then lost my wife's bag on the return leg for 4 days. FLY SVG Charter from Barbados. AVOID LIAT if you can. It alsmost spoiled out trip.
