Celebrate In Celebration

For our annual pilgrimage to observe the EPCOT Candlelight Processional, we decided to spend a couple of nights at the Bohemian Hotel Celebration http://www.luxurylink.com/fivestar/h...el-celebration. With only 115 guest rooms and suites, the property is comfortable and pleasantly contrary to most Orlando area mega hotel complexes.
We booked our Luxury Link package on-line with our favorite LL Concierge and followed up a call to Maricarmen, Group Reservation Manager at the property to inform her of our Lifetime Platinum status with in the Marriott Rewards Program. She promptly responded and confirmed our space for the requested dates.
Turning off of U. S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee you enter the Disney-esque perfection of Celebration, Florida - everything is perfect - not a blade of grass out of place or a chip of paint missing within site. Neatly decorated homes, bedecked in holiday splendor and clearly marked 'electric car parking only' signs for the favored vehicle of residents.
The Bohemian Hotel is compactly constructed on a corner site overlooking a small lake, across from a nature preserve and only a few steps from the commercial district of Celebration. Parking is available on the adjacent streets, in a public parking lot or by simply dropping your vehicle with a valet at the front entrance.
Given the season, the lobby was tastily decorated with a Christmas tree and assorted holiday decorations.

The lobby is actually a combination casual reception area, a common seating/dining area and a small but well stocked bar area. There are wide doors leading to an outside covered seating and dining area as well as an open terrace adjacent to the lake. A small swimming pool, sun terrace and a Jacuzzi spa are also available to guests.
Since we arrived a couple hours prior to normal check-in, Pia, the host/receptionist asked if we would mind waiting a few minutes while our accommodations were being touched up by housekeeping. We decided to stroll down the street, see about getting a bite to eat rather than wait around the hotel and enjoying the holiday decorations. Pia took our cellular number and said she would call us the moment housekeeping had finished.
The Celebration Town Center is actually only a few steps from the hotel lobby entrance and has a variety of restaurants, casual dining spots and a even an active Irish Pub and a Starbucks. We had just found a dining spot to our liking and was reviewing the menu, when the phone rang and Pia informed us we were cleared to check in our 'suite' (first time we had heard that term in connection with our reservation).
Turns out that Luxury Link travelers and Platinum status might have been a help, since our suite (number 226) was enormous and had functional French doors, opening on to a small balcony with full balustrade. The motif was clearly an interpretation of 'Old Florida meets Tommy Bahama' - complete with a king size four poster bed - firm and comfortable!
Our package included a $50 breakfast credit each morning. We decided to take our meals on the outside covered terrace and enjoy the fresh air. Our server both mornings was George. We quickly discovered he was Cusco, Peru and had worked at the Orient-Express Hotel Monasterio, after graduating hotel management. We enjoyed sharing stories about Cusco and the Monasterio (having visited the city and stayed at the hotel, using Luxury Link packages, several times).
We ftotally enjoyed our time at this property. Each member of the staff, with whom we had interactions, executed their responsibilities professionally and cheerfully, adding to the holiday spirit.
We would certainly consider revisiting Bohemian Hotel Celebration, whenever returning to the Orlando area, and would highly recommend it to friends and associates.
