Yesterday, on a uniquely-American holiday, during a uniquely-American race in a uniquely-American city, our country was shaken by a senseless act of violence. Two bombs detonated near the finish line of the Boston Marathon, claiming the lives of at least three people and injuring scores more.

The Luxury Link Travel Group offers our condolences to the victims and their families. We stand united with the proud people of Boston as they begin to recover from yesterday's tragic events.

This unfortunate episode occurred on Patriots' Day, a Massachusetts state holiday commemorating two battles during the Revolutionary War. The date serves as an annual reminder that Americans are a fiercely-independent populace, and value all the freedoms we enjoy in the United States. Patriots' Day is also a celebration of Boston, a beautiful and historic waterfront city that gave rise to our quest for sovereignty nearly 250 years ago.

Continuing to live our lives as normally as possible is the strongest display of support we can offer as a nation. As you make your spring and summer travel plans, I can think of no prouder or more patriotic trip than visiting Boston, soaking in the rich history of the Freedom Trail and exploring its ethnic neighborhoods which represent a microcosm of all that's great about the United States.

I was thrilled with everything about the package. The hotel is in a perfect location and the room we received (#415) was literally perched right on the ocean. We had spectacular views of the entire coast.

We also loved the restaurant, Splash. The food was terrific, especially the lime chicken and braised brussel sprouts--trust me on this one. The brie burger was fabulous as well. The paella also looked amazing but we didn't 'have room to try that dish. I found the service to be excellent. I also experienced the spa and thought the amenities were nice although somewhat small. I would highly recommend this property.
