Got the email. It is double elite miles from 11/1 to 12/31 and/or double miles during the Thanksgiving holidays. I am registered and will be flying in December. Wish I was getting double miles though. Will probably be a little short for elite status.

Give American a call....talk to a supervisor....push a little. They may cave in and back date the promotion for you. American has been pretty good about trying to keep their passengers happy and loyal during the bankruptcy.....at least that has been the case for us.

I have to wait 15 days to request missing miles - I am registered but they did not put the double miles on either of our accounts. So will try again on 11/23 - this will be 15 days after my trip ended ;-)
