Hi Mountie...lucky you to use LAN! Free drinks! Nice wine during your flight...quite nice! LAN's food is pretty good for airline food. Did you use FF points from AA for your trip or purchase the air? We did enjoy our AA flights for Chile but it would have been nice for a little wine before nap time!

No AA miles for this trip. I contacted the folks at Andean Experience and they helped me with the discounted purchase of the tickets on LAN. I had spoken with them originally when I was considering including Hotel Titilaka in my Peruvian journey and they had checked airfares using different programs. I guess I should have split for the money to fly business class, but the flight is so short, I just didn't think it was worth the extra money.

If I were flying further south to Chile, I would spend the money and fly up front. Everyone seems to think LAN does a great job!

Hi M....Is this the international fare that Andean Experience booked for you? Awasi had booked our inter country flights at a great price. I wasn't sure if the prices were great for international also. Interesting. Will you be using Andean for coordination of the trip?

No, not the international legs.

I had to do that on my own, but they did search all of the available fares and steered me to the lowest available.

Then, they handled all of the domestic flights inside of Peru at much lower fares that I could buy myself.
