Thanks for the heads-up. Wonder why I didn't get this information directly from American Express?
kapper...American Express didn't notify me. Actually noticed the mention of this change on my Twitter account and then went searching to see if it was true.
At least, we have a year to consider whether or not it is to our advantage to transfer points from AMEX Rewards and convert some of them to OnePass miles.
Don't really use Continental that often and probably will use them less when the consolidation takes place with United.
Continental is usually the least expensive airline flying from Philadelphia to Mexico and other destinations in Latin America which is where we frequently go. United and the others are usually 2x more expensive than Continental and I usally can buy up to business 1st when I check in the day before for a really low cost
