I was thinking that since many of us use 2 or more packages in harmony for longer trips, we should reiterate our experiences for new members' benefit.

I just bought the Royal Pita Maha 5 night package in Ubud, Bali for October. I'm working on the Hotel Tugu, Canguu, Bali for dates to put the two packages together. Once I find what's available, I can pull the trigger on Tugu.
I've previously combined Langham Hotel and Langham Place in Hong Kong, as well as The Westcliff Johannesburg with Mateya Safari Lodge South Africa and 2 short stays at Miraflores Park Lima Peru.

Hopefully, reviving this subject [as new] will bring some people out of the woodwork to add their 2 euros or rupiahs or pesos...or ask more questions....

I did 3 packages back to back in March for Mexico - had no problems and was very easy to do and I am also doing 2 packages back to back for Costa Rica in March 2012 - once I have a general idea of when I want to go somewhere, I look for auctions that fall in that time frame and then I send an email to the hotel (before I bid) asking if they have rooms available for that time frame, if they say yes then I bid. LL customer service and the hotels have always been very accommodating and I never had any problems getting dates or cobbling multiple packages together for 1 long trip
