Booking Same Location Twice in Auctions
Just wondered if it is possible to bid/win more than one auction per offer.
e.g. Villa Mangiacane auction for 4 nights. If i bid and win for that auction once, then bid/win when it comes up again.
Therefore,getting 8 nights in a row?
Just a thought (could be VERY useful for long haul holidays) and not too sure how the hotels would react.

yes, you can definitely bundle packages. in fact, a very clever idea.
it is subject to availability, if you plan to bundle auction packages for a longer stay, i highly recommend you call or email LL concierge (aka, customer service) before you bid on the 2nd package. they can contact the hotel and assist with availability/reservations.

snapyou...we did exactly that....we bought two back to back auction packages for our upcoming holiday in Guatemala....before placing the bids, we used the toll-free telephone lines (probably not good for you since you are in Europe)to contact the General Manager at theproperty and confirm availability and approval to use the packages. The General Manager was very cooperative and happy to accommodate us....even agreed to hold the suite for a couple of days until we finalized our bids.
btw....we have enjoyed more than 18 trips with LL and findmost hotels are often willing to make adjustments (assuming your requests are reasonable)......we have "split" four night packages in the past at some properties, we have asked to substitute certain included "perks" for other options, we inquire about "early check-ins" after long-haul travel, we have arranged for special transfers (not offered in the packages).
There is no reason to be reluctant in making specialrequests.....if a propertywishes to beconsidered in the "luxury" category, then management is generally accustomed to certain adjustments for their guests......they caneither accept or decline....in which case, you have the option to accept or decline their decisions.....moving on to other properties, if necessary.
As to Michael's comments on use of the LL conciergeservices....by all means utilize them. They are consummate professionals and know their way through the maze.

Thanks for that, omegaet.
I just wish I'd thought of it before !
LL just keeps getting better :)
Re: Booking Same Location Twice in Auctions
I know this is possible and the reason I have not gone for auctions in the past is because I would preferred if they had been for longer. As I'm not yet very confident on bidding, I would be afraid that if I did bid and win an auction, hoping that it came up again so thatI would hopefully win more nights in the same auction, but what if i didn't win the auction second time around and I was left with an auction I had won, but withtoo few nights?
I wish LL would feature properties with auctions for at least a week or more? i'm sure they would be very popular.

Good Point Mary. The saving grace is that if you do win one package, you can always purchase the next few nights directly from the property or the concierge service at LL. (that's if you don't see the auction again.)
