Bringing children?

How do I know if I can bring my children were I to win an auction?

You will need to contact the hotel directly to find out about their cild occupancy rules. You should inquire as to whether or not the hotel allows children, and if so, if there are any age limitations.

Another point regarding bringing children....even if the hotel accepts children you must be sure that you + kids do not exceed the maximum occupancy for the room. If your kids area bit older, you might consider bidding on two packages and then requesting adjoining rooms....but again, as the moderator suggested, its always best to check with the hotel in question first to avoid surprises and dissapointment.

One more thought...Just because children are allowed doesn't always mean that it's appropriate. Perhaps you could inquire of the hotel how often children are present at the facility. Both you and the children might feel uncomfortable if it is not a place that is accustomed to having many children.

Other things to consider might be the availability of children's programs or daytime babysitters and evening babysitters. Children-preferred food items on the resort menu might also be important. It is frustrating for everyone, parents and children, if food choices are very sophisticated (and pricey) and the children are not able to eat the order.
