I am interested in an Alaskan cruise but only if I can upgrade to a balcony room. The cruise pages say high bidders can inquire about a higher grade room. How do you this prior to winning? How can you be assured that a balcony room will be available? What is the average additional cost to get a balcony room? Please help.

Hi there -
My name is Kat' and I am employed with Luxury Link.
In reply to your request, you can always request an upgrade to a
balcony suite/cabin, however, those are always subject to availability
at time of booking.
My suggestion for you is to check with the cruise line on availability
of the cabin category you are interested in prior to placing your bid.
Chances are, that once you have won the auction, and you are requesting
for the upgrade (there will be an additional fee) when making your reservation,
provided that the cabin is still available, we will be able to assist you.
I hope this answer your question. If you need more information, please feel
free to contact our reservation manager, Jim Sanchez at 310 215 8060, ext 149.
Good luck with the auction - Kat'
