Cuna de Vida Property
Interesting note. It looks like the Coral Lodge in Panama is now part of Cuna de Vida. (It is listed as an auction for Cuna de Vida.) Just an FYI for everyone that the property at Coral Lodge that is up for auction looks absolutely lovely. We had hoped to stay there years ago. I almost missed the property because Cuna de Vida had been advertising their boat trips and not the overwater lodge.

Oh Come ON!! We stayed at Kwadule Eco Lodge in Panama in 1999....lovely little bungalows over the water. Coral Lodge is also very nice. So Mountie, don't you ever do overnight trips on the boat and stay somewhere? That is fun!!!

10-19-2010, 10:17 AMI'm with Bonnie & dhd - LOVE sleeping on boats (in calm water please!). Love the rock of the waves. Have a special place in my memory bank for the precious time spent at the beginning of a multi-day whale watch to Nova Scotia from Gloucester. Several of us lay on our backs on the open deck, our sleeping bags swaddled in ground cloths against the dampness, and were rocked to sleep between the Milky Way and the ocean. Connections. Sounds smaltzy, I know. A magical few moments in our all too often, too urban existence.
mountie - Have you ever gone on a cruise? Or overnight fishing trip?
Actually have more than a bit of understanding of such aversions. I can't handle steep mountain roads that only have one side (!!) - shear terror. Valium please! You'll never find me at Machu Picchu or on Bright Angel Trail. A diagnosed balance problem is probably to blame.

that review was posted in early 2008 and while it is entertaining, doesn't mean anything today except it's entertainment value
I agree that the mgmt stand was swift and that's one of the great aspects of TA
Another review from the same time frame was not very favorable, either, but I always consider the source--age, interests, nationality, etc whne I read comments."wherever you go, there you are"
