06-15-2011, 03:57 PMDates for Vacation Packages
Hi all! I just started looking for a honeymoon trip, but noticed that every vacation package is for traveling from now until December 31st. When do the deals for April 2012 start showing up on the site?
Btw, this site is amazing! My sister booked her honeymoon thru LL and only had great things to say about it. I'm looking forward to doing the same.
Thanks for the help!

Hi G and Congratulations also! I am also looking for 2012. The best way is to go under the destination section, find the area you would like to visit (ie South and Central America), then find a property that looks good and check their dates. Many of the 2012 auctions are not showing yet. We hope that LL will add some dates as soon as possible!! I'm with you!!

I am also looking for some 2012 dates in the Latin America regions - there are some for Mexico and a few places in Central America. I have been checking everyday.
Welcome to the site and I am confident you will find a great package for yor honeymoon!

06-21-2011, 10:36 AMThank you all for your comments. I'm still having a hard time finding packages for our honeymoon. I was looking at Playa del Carmen in Mexico in late April. Maybe it is so far away that the deals are not posted yet. I'll just check again in a few weeks.

06-21-2011, 04:05 PMThanks kyshel! We're thinking from April 23 thru April 29 in the Riviera Maya (Playa del Carmen, not Cancun). We want an all-inclusive resort with some great food and drinks. My sister used the site to book her honeymoon to Puerto Vallarta and told me to look at Dreams resorts. Any recommendations?

we've been to different Palace resorts as well as Cozumel and H10, and a few others I wouldn't bother to mention.
Hacienda Tres Rios is upscale and small but not much nightlfe as in club/dance/bar scene. They do fire and Mayan shows very well but the beach is not a major swim beach due to effluence from rivers. They do have a great eco resort program there where you don't need to leave the property if that suits you.
Never been to Dreams--we're "older" so not our style due to the honeymooners (everyone just got married) If that's what you're after, it might be good choice. Get the best level you can afford (preferred club, etc) if you want the better wines and food. Some of these resorts are HUGE and have a bad rep for chair hogging and such (as in fights over chairs and shade)--take a look at tripadvisor.com Playa
Del Carmen section...some are diffucult to reserve a la carte restaurants, and so on. Do your homework. It will make you crazy, I guarantee.
Hope that helps."wherever you go, there you are"

kyshel, I just love it when someone says they are 'older.' Then I really, really dig down for the reference mark. You know that one that establishes we are 'older' or 'younger' then.....
I guess I fall into that group that really, really believes I am 'younger,' and more often than not, 'better looking' and 'with a lot more experience' than most!t-2-f
