Hi,
I am new to the site but am very glad I found it. I am looking for an all inclusive in Mexico or the Caribbean in February or March. Can anyone recommend one they have been to ?Also can your make an offer on a "Buy it Now" or do you have to pay the price listed?
Thanks for any help !

Re: Destinations in Mexico
I haven't been to any sold on luxurylink but make sure you pay attention to the validity dates. Some auctions are available for use after your dates and some buy now offers suit your timing. How large a resort do you prefer? There are other posts regarding this topic you can search [above]. I enjoyed Aventura Spa Palace Riviera Maya. Not huge like Moon Palace, but no kids. Advice for Domincan Rep--get the best you can afford--their star ratings are one below most other resorts I've liked in other countries.
There have been close to 20 new resorts in the Riviera Maya and many are all competing furiously for business. There the smaller Karisma resorts to consider, but I haven't been in a few years.
Hope that helps a little."wherever you go, there you are"

The Velas properties in PVR are very nice.
We ownthree weeks between the Grand Velas and Velas Vallarta and have stayed at the Casa Velas.
My wife and daughter love the Grand Velas withthe spa, daily messagesand surpurbattention by the staff.
I prefer the Velas in PVRsinceI prefer theirrestaurants and being near town. Both the Grand and Velas properities are on the beach.
The Casa Velas is on the golf course on a hole opposite the Velas. It is for adults only, is smaller, charming, and very romantic. The pool isvery relaxingandthe lighting at night makes it stunning &relaxing.
If you stay at either the Casa or Velas you can interchangerestaurants - Casa's Beach House (special setting at night - charming), Casa's Emiliano's (fine Mexican)andVelas Andrea's (Italian as good as it gets)..try each ...
Even though you'll bepaying for AI venture out and eat at the Hacienda San Angel for a very special and romaniic meal. Ask them to show you the chaple for a view of PVR you'll talk about forever.
We also stayed at the Camino Real Acapulco Diamanteand Paradise Village Beach Resort & Spa. Both we would return to.
The Camino is beautiful that has abeautiful setting in the lobbyto be enjoyed with a drink at sunset. The Paradise Village hasmany family activities, the kids will enjoy the zoo and animals.
The Villageshares the same beach as the Grand Velas which is clean, comfortable, swimableandruns north forabout 15 miles.
