Discussion threads reversed?

It seems that the discussion threads are now showing the most recent posts first, rather than adding new posts to the end of the discussion. Is anyone else seeing this?

disneygal....you can change the way you see message posting by going to MY PROFILE, click on PREFERENCES, then scroll down to LINEAR FORMAT SETTINGS....at which point you have four choices for the order in which messages can be set.

yes. I was surprised.
I didn't have omegaet's expert advice on how to do it myself, prior to LL changing it. Now I can switch it back if I want, but I don't. Cool, eh?

Omegaet...Thanks for the tip on how to customize the threads. It seems the comments I have read recently are not consistently most recent to least recent...so I find myself puzzling over the structure when I really want to think about the travel. Now I can create my preference and have it be consistent. Cheers...Marolyn

Thanks O - I thought maybe I had inadvertently changed a setting, but it seems LL has changed the default. It does make more sense to have the latest postings first, so I don't think I'll change it back either. Just a little confusing at first!

I would be ashamed to tell you how long it took me to figure out what was going on with the thread order! You'd think I was a bit dim. But life has been hectic here, so for a couple of weeks I wasn't able to be on LL as often as I would like, and when I returned...yikes! I think I'm getting the hang of it now, though.

personally, I preferred it the other way. I still expect to see the most recent post when I click on to it. I suppose I will get used to it.
