Email Notification
Has anyone had an issue with NOT getting notified of new packages? I have been submitting my request to receive an email notice when a new package becomes available. I have YET to get ANY. Has anyone gotten one?
Today's example:
I've been looking for new pkgs for Hacienda Tres Rios--several weeks ago I decided to request email notice. Guess what I never got? Guess which property has several new offers? HTR!!
I've been doing this for a long time and just realized I've NEVER gotten a notice about any new offer. I wonder what I've been missing?
LL--is this function working or not? I hope someone will reply. Thanks!"wherever you go, there you are"

I have never received any emails and I put my name on various packages to be notified of new packages. I only ever get emails from LL partner sites trying to sell me something

04-19-2011, 08:16 PMI requested a couple of notices, when I first joined and did receive some. Lately it's been useless to count on it. Too bad, because we almost missed the latest pkge we bid on & won for an upcoming trip.
LL definitely needs to get this going again. If they can't support something or decide against it, the link should be removed, and people's expectations would be removed. Time for some spring cleaning of software ????
Maybe it went the way of the mystery hat photo pix. LOL

Hi all,
The E-mail Notification has worked well for me. I have not encountered any problems with it. But if I am really interested in a package, I do not solely rely on e-mail notification. I check with the site often or even call LL or the property to inquire about future offerings.

The question is regard to requesting an email for a particular proeprty offering that may not be available at the time. Are you saying you request specific email notices of availability for specific offers and receive them?
Like this:
"We are currently updating this hotel package! Please contact the property directly to book now, or provide your email below and we'll alert you as soon as a package becomes available.
Your Email Address: xxxxxxx
(will only be used to send you a single alert)"
I have submitted mulitple requests and have never rec'd any notice, as others have noted.
I think we are talking about two different things.
I check the LL site frquently --as in almost once a day

No, we are talking about the same thing. I was checking for the Uniworld Cruises and requested e-mail notification and promptly got notified when new Uniworld Cruises came up. Most recently (4 days ago) I received an e-mail notification for a Silversea Cruise offer. I had put in the request a few months ago.
It seems to be working, but maybe sporadically, and maybe not for all browsers. I use Mozilla/Firefox.

I, too, rely on Mozilla and have yet to recieve one email notice for offers I requested. Maybe someone at LL will actually read this thread and do soemthing to fix the problem. Obviously, I'm not the only one. Glad to see at least one member gets the notices.
I have used both Moz and IE for requests, so there is somehting rotten in Denmark...."wherever you go, there you are"

Well, I just had another e-mail notification from LL for the Half Moon Hotel in Jamaica. Either it has been corrected, or the system still responds to my e-mail requests. Hope it works for you by now.

05-18-2011, 03:48 PMIt's worked sporadically for me--maybe once per request? I know I haven't gotten multiple notices on packages I have requested to be notified on.

It's supposed to be a one-time alert. Yet to receive any...
