12-12-2012, 11:49 AMFAMILY GETAWAY: how to book for a family of 4?
Hi All,
Ooops, I just accidentally posted this question in the Live Chat forum. Sorry for the double-question.
I'm trying to book a family vacation at one of the places currently promoted on Luxury Link (Buccaneer in St. Croix, or perhaps a place in Puebla, Mexico, or...). Anyway, all the offers seem to be for two adults.
When I click on "family getaway" button, it shows three or four destinations -- none of which offer a family rate. Only the usual "for two people" offer.
Any thoughts or advice?
thanks so much!

Hi bonacker,
Just to clarify - are you looking on Luxury Link or have you checked out Family Getaway offers, as well?
Here's The Buccaneer on FG.com:

Give us a shout if you'd like: 877-372-5877 or [email protected]
Hope this help!

Hi bonacker! Welcome to the Luxury Link Community!
I just clicked Family Getaway on top, then clicked on Destinations and for the following 3 destinations, I found:
Carribean - 7 vacations
Mexico - 58 vacation packages
United States - 123 packages
Most FG packages are for 4 people, usually 2 adults and 2 children. I've also seen some for 3 or 5 people too.
The other thing you can do - back on LL...
Click on the Luxury Link tab up on top, then click Vacation Types, then click Family/Group Travel, then click View All Vacation Experiences. There I saw 66 packages ranging from 4 people to as many as 14 people. These are usually separate houses, lodges, condos, or villas. In fact I've rented some of these a few times with a group of friends. Most recently we had 6 couples do the Montana Sky Lodge in August. We've also did LL villas in Mexico and Costa Rico.Life is too short.........travel now!

12-13-2012, 05:11 PMThanks, y'all. I was clicking the "Type of Travel" tab at top, and then the "Family/Group Travel" tab . . . and that leads you to a page with three "suggestions," all of which are packages for two adults. Clearly, I was in the wrong place. Appreciate the help!

04-12-2013, 08:13 AMFilter by number of travelers??
LL - It would be tremendously helpful to have a "filter" option where offers could be organized by number of travelers. The overwhelming majority of offers are for 2 people only, which results in tons of time spent sifting through offers for which our family of six is ineligible.
Am I missing it? Does this filter ability already exis?
Thank you.

yep, I think you're missing it. Choose your destination and choose how many adults and how many children. You may need to choose 2 A and 2 K for more deals, then pay extra if it's offered. Another option is to look at villas that will accommodate 6--on both sites.
