Fiji Dream Package
Sometimes I forget to check the preview auctions...
OH MY
http://www.luxurylink.com/auctions/a....php?id=206004
This has to be one of the most outstanding values I have seen at LL in ages (without being a mystery!)
We were planning to go to Bali this fall but I may have to engage in a discussion with hubby when he comes home tonight. I'm not usually interested in spending a week at any beach resort, but it is sooooooo tempting."wherever you go, there you are"

Re: Fiji Dream Package
Hi Khyshel. I did see this also. (I love looking at the preview auctions!) Great price, food included...looks great. I am not too familiar with this property. Have you ever heard of it? Sort of looked like a family resort? What a great deal!

Re: Fiji Dream Package
Looks to be predominantly honeymoon and dive resort from the reviews at TA--all raves. I already got an email response about availability early next year (no need to sub for Bali!) I'm on the scent of some flights with partner airlines. I was surprised that tkts out of LA were about $1100/pax for 10 hr trip. This is such a great deal for divers, with so many tanks included--and meals to boot! I don't dive, but I could find a way to relax and enjoy the water--maybe go fishing?? They have 25 villas and I guess there are some families, but I'm also seeing reviews for groups of friends (divers) for some of the 2 bedroom units

Re: Fiji Dream Package
Hi Kyshel! Thanks for doing some work for me! I was TOOOOOO busy at work this week and couldn't fully investigate (plus I amtrying to get a trip to Guatemala together and have become so consumed..in a good way...with the planning. I did see thefantastic price for this trip! . When I first popped up the resort, it looked like families and I was looking more for a less crowded place. Thanks for checking more. I am looking into 2009 also and see the package goes till then..WEO...might be an idea. We don't dive but we love to snorkel. I really would imagine they would allow you to go out with the divers. Glad to hear the property was liked. I had never heard of this place before.

Re: Fiji Dream Package
Bonnie and members--as I dig into their website and some forums, I think this is such an exceptional package. Considering the food prices in the South Pacific and included dives, the LL deal in almost unbeatable! I just sent this to a niece who is getting married next year. I suggest she consider putting LL GC's on her gift request list! She works in aquatic animal rescue--turtle/whale strandings, etc. Wouldn't Fiji be the dream honeymoon?

Re: Fiji Dream Package
Great idea! I have two nieces getting married in June of 2009. I thought the same. (Unfortunately the deal ends in March). However, it is time to start reviewing the auctions for wedding gifts and gift certificate ideas. Thanks for the heads up! Sometimes we get so caught up in our own travel plans, we forget to share our ideas with our family!
