Formatting LL Community Messages
I have a question I hope someone in the community can answer. I would like to make some postings that include formatting and pics. An example would be this one posted by another community member: http://community.luxurylink.com/luxurylink/board/message?board.id=board-style-4&thread.id=750 ,. I have send a message to LL staff to ask, but have not heard back.
I had been able to make postings in the past and copy / paste pics into the message. Now I can't get the pics to post. I have created a posting in word and tried to copy it over into the community, but I lost the formatting and pictures. I then created the message with the pics using HTML. When I copied it over, all I got was the HTML code, no pics, and it did not show the way it was created.
Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this correctly?
Thank you in advance.

I'm not a big help to you but thought I would ask for assistance with you!!

Hi S,
I had the same problem for AGES but now it seems to be fixed.
I have a Mac and use Firefox. To insert a photo i use Photo Bucket then use the "insert image" icon(looks like a little tree)on
the panel above where you write your message(for some reason that doesn't appear in Safari) and copy and past the "Direct Link" opton from photobucket into where it says "Image URL" et volia:

Hope that helps!

Snapyou,
Is the little "tree" icon you are seeing on LL's page? I don't see it. And I don't see it on photobucket.
Does anyone know how to get the formatting to stay (i.e. - bold, text that is a link, etc.)

Re: Formatting LL Community Messages
OK - now I see what the problem is. I am using Internet Explorer to access LL, so I don't know if this is the cause. The toolbar you see on your posting page does not show on mine. All I get is 4 options: edit as HTML, check spelling, preview, and quote.
