Formatting LL Community Messages

Hi S.....I had some similiar problems this week. I worked with Jackie and Dena at LL. I use internet explorer. Starting this week, I lost access to signing in to LL!!!! I could view but never sign in. I also lost the landscape icon. Now, I am on Firefox and can do everything...weo! Isn't that crazy. I thought it was some type of security change. I even called HP and was on the phone for over 1 hour (in a foreign country..oh yeah..guess what...they called BACK AFTER we went to bed and woke up the whole family!!!...ok,...back to the story.) When I called Jackie at LL, she said about Firefox. Now, I access LL through firefox......maybe an idea for you also???

Dear LL,

Can you please fix the LL web site so those of us using IE to access LL have the same messaging tools without having to download and use firefox? Thank you.

Shygirl,i would recommend downloading Firefox:it's SO much better than IE!

Hi Community,

Sorry it'staken a little while to resolve this issue, but IE should be back to normal! You should now be able to see all the proper editing tools when posting a message in IE as you would in FireFox.

Hi Katie...still having a problem signing on to LL through IE???? Any one else with the problem? It tries to "redirect me" but never lets me sign in. The only way to sign in is through Firefox.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU... Now I finally know why I could not post pictures! I never had the little tree on my header - same problem as the others... not using firefox! Any chance LL can fix this for us who don't have firefox?

When I try to add a picture either via firefox or explorer, I have the tree Icon and according to the help feature, you should see some chouices when you click the tree, for example, upload pictures from your computer - well I do not have the different choices only a space to put in a URL and none of my pictures have a URL - I tried putting my pictures on a free pix hosting site and still no luck - can anyone give any suggestions.

I have tried both internet explorer and firefox - I get the tree icon but can't do the URL part- I am going to keep experimenting, maybe create my own website
