future auctions

Hi,

I have been looking at a resort in the Maldives which I am very keen on bidding for, but unfortunately I want to go around April next year and the auction is only suitable for up to December. I really want to book this accommodation and it looks like I would get a good price doing it via the auction. Can anyone tell me if there is anyway to tell if the same resort is likely to be up for auction again so thatI could bid for it if it as long as it was valid for travelling in April. I want to book the resort quite soon but if an auction doesn't come up covering April then i would have to go and book it through an agent instead. Moderators.....are you able to tell me if the auction is going to come up again but is valid for April and not onlyup to December? It is for Huvafen Fushi?

Mary-j, I am in same situation. Have been watching a Bali property for a while, but uncertain of dates for my husband's vacation. Since it's 10+ days to enjoy a trip that far away, I had to wait. The hotel is no longer at auction HOWEVER same thing occurred in 06, so maybe maybe... When it reappeared, the pkg was one day shorter (my advantage) with a few less bennies and slightly higher price per day. Still a great value. She who hesitates...?
I do hope it comes back--it really was my fave LL pkg in Bali, but there are still several good alternatives to consider. We're so flexible, it can be very difficult to decide. I just missed another hotel deal in Seattle at the 1000 that was superb, but couldn't make the commitment at the time. Good luck--hope yours re-emerges soon.

Have you see your auction yet--I've seen the listings but not sure about the dates...
