There's an auction I'm thinking of bidding on, but at its scheduled close, I won't be near a computer. I wondered how well it would work using my iPhone. Sometimes last minute bidding can get hectic. Plus I'll want to use a VIP cert, so I guess I'd have to also type in the cert with each submitted bid.
Have you done LL bidding on your smartphone?
I usually have my desktop and laptop fired up and ready to go before the final bell on an auction that I am really interested in. Once, during final bidding, my desktop froze and I was lucky to have a plan B.
Personally, I am unlucky with gadgets. I would just lug a laptop around if it was a property I was very interested in.
Haven't yet used used the iPhone for bidding, but have pounded on my iPad for a couple of last minute auctions while waiting for a flights at JetBlue's JFK T5. Seems like I have to board before the auction closes and then someone 'jumps' me with a last minute bid before I can reconnect onboard.

Auctions can be brutal, but what A THRILL sometimes.
I had my husband place a bid once. You would have thought I asked him to sacrifice his first-born to the travel gods!
He doesn't like it when I tell him the status of my auctions. "Just let me know when it's over."

I don't have or use XBOX360. So I get my electronic thrills from winning LL auctions. I would download the LL App, if it every comes about!
