How do you delete a post if you do a post incorrectly??

Anyone know how to delete a post after it was posted? I erred and want to hide my mistake!

I don't know how to delete your own, but there is a way around the problem. Click on the "options" link in the upper right of the message. Select "report abuse to moderator" at the bottom of the list. This brings up a window that allows you to type a message. Send a message to the moderator that you want your message (or the entire thread) removed. The moderator can then take it down.

I just checked that same list using one of my own postings. I see that there is "delete message" in the list when it is your own. I have never tried it, but it looks like that should let you take the message off the board. Let us know if it works!

WOW--I just did it--but it must have a time function!!
this was my post I just removed:
"There was a function that we could use, but, alas, it is gone with the wind...at least, I could not locate it anymore! Maybe that why we now have the "email a friend " option??
I'm sure Katie can remove it--I give my blessing to have my response included. I realize the moderator has the ability to delete any post so I don't why it can't be "tidied up" by LL."

bonniejoy03, there is a delete option, but I don't think you can delete your original post, once someone else has posted following you. You can still go into your original post and edit.
