How much credit we can use per transaction?

Is there a limit as to how much credit you can use per transaction?

I currently have $200 in LL credits but when I try to place a bid on a hotel, the system only takes off $100. Is $100 the limit when it comes to LL credits we can use per transaction?

If your $200 LL credits are in $100 increments, my understanding is that you can only use $100 at a time. If your Gift Certificate reads $200, you should be able to use the $200 credit as stated. Best way to be certain is to check with LL directly. Good luck!

What are credits - are they different from the certificates? Are the credits when you refer someone?

There are several types of credits that I know of. They might be the $100 referral credits, they might be Gift Certificates in various $ denominations given by parents, friends, etc., they might be credits given by LL themselves for unsatisfactory services like goodwill gestures, and then there are the VIP Gift certificates with a $250 credit.

K - maybe one of the $100 Referral Credits you are talking about, I guess, had an expiration date on it. Double check for expiration dates, just a suggestion....

LL--There is nothing to check. I had 2 credits of $100 each and now there is only one. I just rec'd them this January. Poof--one is gone! I wonder if it was a mistake/glitch in the system?

Welcome to the Forum.
There are a number of ways you can acquire credits.
1. You can refer a friend and when you friend purchases a package, you receive a $50 referral credit and your friend receives $50 off of his/her package.
2. You can become a VIP member of the Forum by contributing articles, blogs and posts to the Forum in sufficient quantity and quality. VIP members are selected each quarter and if you are selected by LL editors, you receive a $250 VIP Gift Certificate which you can apply towards purchases of LL vacation packages.
3. Somebody can purchase a Gift Certificate for you which you then can apply to the purchase one of your trip packages.
