A La Carte Booking

I believe a question was already asked about what A La Carte Booking is , but what I want to know, is what is the discount when booking this way and more importantly, I've had trouble getting though to find dates available when trying to book this way on LL. It keeps giving me a message that the page is not found. I don't want to go direct to the website to book,I want to do it through LL. What should I do ?

I have also been unsuccessful when trying to use the a la carte function.

Has anyone compared a hotel's rack rates to see if a la carte booking with LL offers any savings?

I've had the same problem; you might want to try deleting cookies and temporary internet files and see if that fixes it (sometiemes it does, sometimes it doesn't).



As for discounts from rack rates or otherwise - they definitely are a discount from the rack rates, but you can almost always find the same price or lower via the hotel's website. I know you'd rather book through LL, but when the hotel's site gives you a lower rate, why not?



(Any LL moderators out there ... is a la carte booking mainly for LL users' convenience? Because with prices the same as going through the hotel website, with the tech issues enewseven discusses, there isn't much incentive to book a la carte via LL)

I have not checked the A LA Carte booking lately but I'll take your word for it that the problem hasn't been addressed yet. I'm curious to know the specific range in which discounts are offered by booking that way because a lot of the time I can't pull up any quotes. Hopefully this part will be re-developed, but until then I am certain there is enough on theLL siteto keep us all occupied !
