"latest posts"
I have noticed a few times, especially on the "beach" board it states that the "latest" entry is from "Playacar beach erosion", but when you click on to it, it is actually not the latest post, there are quite a few posts after that? Sometimes if I do not have much timeI will click to see what the latest post is about and if it is not one which I want to read about then I will justleave it. I know this is just a trivial thing but just wondered if anyone else had noticed it? cheers.

Re: "latest posts"
Hi mary-j. I've noticed that also. I think the latest post indicates the most recent new topic. There can be other newer postings, but they are responses to previous posts. Maybe there's an improvement that can be made to this feature as well.

Re: "latest posts"
Hi MJ and DG,
After you post something you can check the box on the left hand side of the screen that will automatically let you know when someone responds via email. Then after the response it becomes the top thread on that particular board.

Re: "latest posts"
Hi Enewseven,
Are you talking about the e-mail notification? You only get notified via e-mail if you have that feature turned on. But you are right, anytime you respond to a post, that post moves up with your name listed under "latest post" and a "1" shows up under "NEW".

Re: "latest posts"
Right, but I think mary-j was asking about the latest post showing on the list of boards. On the "Browse Boards" screen, the latest post doesn't seem to get updated by replies, only by new topics.

Re: "latest posts"
Hi Disneygal,
No that isn't quite true. It shows you how many new posts are on the "Browse Board". I just went through and answered a bunch of new posts, and with each answer the number on the "Browse Board" diminished till there were no new posts left on my screen. Now it is up to the next Contributor to reply to my new posts which are showing on their computer on the"Browse Board" as x number of new posts.... I think this is the way it works.

Re: "latest posts"
Hi Travelfan,
To clarify, I think the question is about which post is listed as "latest". This appears to be the last new topic. Replying to a pre-existing topic does not seem to update the "latest".

Hi disneygal,
Yes, I think you are right on that one.
