Hi, I'm a newbie here and wondering if the LL bidding or fixed price packages are open to all, US residents or non-US residents? I'm a non-US resident and if I book anything from LL, will the LL sales or the hotel representatives contact me to confirm details? How?

Re: LL for all?
Hi ponitail,
Welcome to the LL Community. Yes, bidding on auctions and fixed price packages are open to all. You should have no problem being a non-US-resident. Several of our LL Community members are non residents or are living abroad. Once you have successfully bid and won an auction or have purchased a fixed price package, LL will contact you via e-mail, asking for your credit card number to charge the package to. If you live in a European Country where the Euro is used, you will pay in US Dollars and your European credit card will show the amount in Euros. With the dollar being so low at the moment, paying in euros represents a substantial savings. At the current exchange rate a $1000 package represents approximately 600 Euros, not a bad discount.....
Good Luck

I was also wondering, at what point in time would they consult the exchange rates? After you win the auction or the moment the auction starts? Just a thought since the exchange rates go up and down a lot.

Hi mathewlawrence26,
The exchange rate of the day is applied the day the charge hits your credit card. The exchange rate is governed by your credit card, not by LL. LL prices are in dollars.
