More Formating Questions

Hi,



I have asked LL numerous times if we could incorporate a "DRAFT" or "SAVE" feature into our posts, so we could get back to the draft before sending it. I have lost numerous posts which often discouraged me rewriting a long post. Why ist it impossible to get a "SAVE" or "DRAFT" feature which would prevent losing posts when interrupted.... HELP!!!

LL_Travelfan...why not just compose, edit, spell check, etc., and save your written thoughts in a Word doc. When you are ready to post.....call up the doc. do a cut & paste directly into the thread you are starting or into which you are adding a reply.....then hit post!

No waiting around for IT Wizards at LL to deal with the problem.

Just a reminder that if you do it that way, it will not copy over pics, and you will lose any special formatting you used.

I type up in Word then copy and paste on to here and insert the pics.

Thanks everyone for your good advice and suggestions. Of course, I have tried to compose in Word, when I do bigger posts, but sometimes it is just faster to go directly to the Reply to a post. It is here where you lose replies when you skip back and forth to post pictures. As some of you mentioned, you cannot bring over pictures from a Word document. I still think it would be best or most helpful, if LL could incorporate a DRAFT or SAVE feature just like we have in e-mails.

We totally understand your concerns, but unfortunately this is not an available feature at this time. I did recently double the login session time, so hopefully that will help a little.
