j-s-2....so much for the "mystery" aspect, now let's see if anyone actively bidding reads your posting and decides they really want to take advantage of this bargain.

then again, j-s-2 could still delete the original message before any more bidders become active. After all, there are several days left to this "mystery" auction

Don't really see anything was spoiled by purblishing my guess of the Mystery Auction. Otherwise, why would there be a Mystery Auction and why would Katie continue to give clues?

Re: Mystery Auction
Sorry, I didn't see it as a guess. I didn't realize that was your intent, j-s-2.
Typically people will post one under the mystery auction thread and eventually Katie does offer clues to tantalize (and torment)! I just thought it odd to expose the property with a link and noticed you stopped bidding right after that post.
Well, the Prague's out of the Bag, so to speak. Good luck to all. If LL can get my technical glitch fixed, I'll be able to continue bidding before it ends!"wherever you go, there you are"

Sorry for the lack of clues on this one, but I figured most of you had seen this:

I watch a large number of the Mystery Auctions held here on Luxury Link and have to admit I am puzzled by the bidding strategies employed by many of those actively engaged in the auctions. I've never seen a package sell for $1.00, $10.00, or even$100,00. I have seen and participated in a couple of the lesser known or maybe off the beaten track Mystery Auctions and seen themsell for deeply discounted prices, even when compared to actual starting bids in regular auctions.
I can see placing a test the waters bid along the way just to see how much competition your may have in the game.
It seems like the time to bid in a Mystery Auction is within the last minute and decidewhat your final limit will be and stay in or get out.
Takes all kinds of biddersto make this site successful.

J-S-2--the waters are churning in the last 10 minutes of this auction! I dropped out once I hit my limit and already eyeing Asia instead. There are some new offers that the only mystery is how to get there!!
I, too, like the not-so-popular destinations. (Prague is my one exception) I've gotten some outstanding bargains never seen again in LL history.Message Edited by kyshel on 06-04-2010 09:02 AM"wherever you go, there you are"
