Tuesday, 04 March, 2008, www.InsideTrip.com, will become active. Much has been written, including a story in 02 March, 2008, New York Times Travel Section, regarding the help and assistance this new site will bring to air travelers seeking additional information and will be rated by actual users. If the site lives up to the hype, it could an additional source of important information to frequent fliers! We'll give it try and see what comes up.....
Great trip. I just tried it for our end of year trip. The difference between this and Travelocity/Orbitz/Expedia seems to be that Insider provides more statistics . You can pick your flights (or search for your flights) based on different factors such as speed, comfort, and ease.. Quite interesting site! Its quite fun to figure out by different statistics which flight is best and which flight might cause headaches (lost bags, security wait times, etc.) Great tip!
bonnyjoy03...we've loaded in several trips (business and leisure) already just to see what the site produces.We're suspect of their sources for data such as security wait times....that's probably directly from the TSA. Maybe this site will become a valuable traveltool, maybe not.
omegaet, maybe it's just me, but www.InsideTrip.com just looks like information overload. What have I really gained by using this site?
t-2-f....that's a fair question. Since we just found out about www.InsideTrip.com and have ourselves just begun to load upcoming trips into their matrix, we are not about to take sides on the value or wisdom of using the site.
As we use it and we have more feedback, we will gladly share our opinion.
