"offers under $1000"
BonnieJoy casually mentioned this in genreal Q/A and it deserves merit, so I'm bringing it to the forefront. I'm sure I would have noticed the new line-up on the left, but kudos for catching it and passing it on first!
There is one property I've enver seen and it sounds SAWEEEEET!

mini apt, Itlaian countryside, cooking and wine tasting--some meals, stocked fridge, pool--it's a steal!! Now that's a good way to SPAVE and make the exchange seem better! Now, if I just spoke some Italian...ciao

I was looking at this category also. At the moment though it seems to be bringing up items that are not priced below $1000 (at least for me!). Hope they correct this soon, as it's a nice way to search for lower-priced options.

Re: "offers under $1000"
I hope LL is using some of the extra charges for auction fees to check the listings closer, too. There was an offer yesterday for 7 night package at a Balinese villa for 5 nights. hmmmm...
Now, I'm really curious to see which packages you were checking, Disneygal! I've checked about 15 and all are under a grand--we must have totally different tastes--does that make this forum interesting, or what?
I can't recall who was asking about pink dolphins (long time ago!) but I see that the Ariau Towers pkg is still in the under $1000 mix and the pink dolphin excurson is included (along with a zillion others)

Hi kyshel, Well now it looks OK. Maybe it was just me, but yesterday I was sure I was seeing some higher-priced prooperties. Anyway, glad it's working and it's a great feature!

disneygal, it wasn't just you seeing things yesterday. I was seeing the same type of things. I think LL was having programming problems. In looking through the "offers under $1,000" it seems a lot (if not all)of the properties have been kicking around for some time. Looks like LL is just doing some reorganization and marketing!

I just saw similar pricing--way beyond the grand category (some, maybe per day!!) I'm sure LL will sort it out soon.

Re: "offers under $1000"
Would someone please explain why this category is always messed up?
I don't believe that the Oberoi package priced at nearly $14,000 belongs here. There are so many "deals" well over $1000 listed here.
There has to be someone checking into these complaints, yes?
Does anyone monitor the community queries about this issue?
Am I the only one who thinks this is strange?
I refer friends and travelers to this website and used to mention the category frequently. I think it makes LL look incompetent or dishonest--that the parameters are not even close to what is "advertised".
LL Staff--would someone please respond to the Community?"wherever you go, there you are"

kyshel, I think the luxury link office is operatingwith a skeleton crew during the holidays. I have noticed a number of ongoing refinements and changesunderway in several areas of the web site. The under $1,000 catagory seems to be something they just haven't addressed. I have hopes we will see some big changes within the next couple of weeks.

Re: "offers under $1000"
thanks t2f--it's been 2 wks so I guess I expected they'd rectify the situation or delete the header until it was tended to properly. I am also still awaiting a reply to an email to customer service I sent on the 12th of Decemeber, so I suppose it's in a queue as well. I'll be a good girl...a patient good girl!

Hi All - and Happy New Year.
I just did a spot check oft he offers under $1000 and did not find any that should not have been there.
Please let us know if you see this problem again - it could be a bug.
However, an auction is likely to turn up here if the minimum bid was under $1,000 and then it subsequently was bid up to a value greater than $1,000.
We are very excited to bring more fun features to the site in 2008 - and of course value your feedback.
I had not check this link since we first launched it - and I have to say I was blown away by some of the great deals.
It's kind of fun to see them all in one place.
