online payment tool

Have you used the online payment tool we released in march 2008? when you win an auction, you will receive an email saying that you won and a link to a page where you can submit your credit card information.

i am curious if people found the tool difficult to use.

Hi Michael. I haven't noticed it. I think that is because once we win the auction, we are so excited and call to LL immediately. Guess we should pay more attention! Also, sometimes we are using a different computer than the one we are set to receive email so we miss it. It sounds like a great option though.

PayPal is not currently an option at LuxuryLink, but our plan is to make it on in the near future.

if you call LL to submit payment, that's ok too. we set up this tool for people who don't like to call or do not have time to call when the office is open (i.e. customers in europe and australia).

I've looked for this and can't find it -- is it something that comes up only when you win and need to pay? It sounds like it would be ideal for those of us in Europe!

yes, you only receive the link via email if you win an auction.

michael, I used the new system yesterday. It seemed to work fine. However, I forgot when I used the automatic payment that my VIP certificate did not automatically get credited, so I had to call Sharon. She resolved the matter for me.

regarding gift certificates, it's probably better to redeem by calling customer service until we have a different or more sophisticated system for handling them.
