POSTING PHOTOS
Hi Everyone,
Is there someone out there who could teach us step by step on how to post pictures? There are some of us who could use your help. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance,

Yes, I too would appreciate help in that department too. I have some wonderful photo's from our stay in the Banyan Tree, Seychelles, which I would love to share with anyone who is interested.

Re: POSTING PHOTOS
Hello,
If either of you uses a Mac (like me) you're out of luck -- apparently the photo posting feature does not exist for Mac users. So no safari photos from me, I'm afraid...
Cheers,
Julian

Re: POSTING PHOTOS
Also, I think the photo must be on a server that you can point to. I don't think you can uploadphotos to the LL website. So, for example, you could point to a photo that's on another website, or on your own website, if you have one.

Re: POSTING PHOTOS
One more thing - you have to be using Internet Explorer. The photos and other text editing features do not work with FireFox and other internet browsers.

Re: POSTING PHOTOS
Wow, so if you use Firefox on a Mac and have your photos stored on the hard drive and not online, you are completely SOL!
So much for my hopes at posting pictures.

Hello Claasenam,
I've sent an email to LL about upgrading the community to make it compatible with Firefox. Maybe if you do the same and show the editors that more than one person has this problem they'll address it more quickly.
Cheers,
Julian

Sorry, I got so caught up in the many ways you cannot post a photo, that I neglected to explain how to do it! If you meet all of the requirements previously dicussed, you should see some text editing tools when composing your message. One if these looks like a little landscape scene, with a mountain and a yellow backgound. If you click on that icon, you can point to the URL (web address) where your photo is located.

Re: POSTING PHOTOS
Wow! Luxurylink is doing a great job listening - as a Firefox user I now have the same little posting menu that Internet Explorer uses, with the same access to a photo posting button. Now, I need to find the best way to get my photos on a URL.....
