Quail Lodge Resort--Carmel . . . yes!!

We just returned from our first actual LL trip--and we were thrilled with every aspect. The price was amazing, the booking was painless and I feel like the Quail Lodge delivered even MORE than promised. This is a 4-diamond golf resort and for each item promised, they delivered in 4-diamond manner. Fresh flowers were promised in our room upon arrival and (knowing flowers!) it was about a $75 arrangement. Who does that? The meals were delicious, including a picnic lunch the restaurant packed for us, the room was HUGE, overlooked a lake, had a beautiful fireplace, among the nicest hotel bathrooms we've seen, all the cleaning and refreshing was so well-done and showed that our maid was observant of how we liked things. Then--when time came to pay for our incidentals, like gratuities for meals--there were none. Again, who does that? We had written them on the bills presented, but the Quail Lodge wouldn't charge us for those, just smiled and said, "We've enjoyed having you! Can we give you any directions for your next destination?" Happy, happy us.

congratulations, jennikey, on a very wonderful vacation through LL. The Quail Lodge in Carmel is a wonderful hotel. It's nice to hear how well you were treated, and that the nicities promisedthrough the LL package were not only included, but additional wonderful services were provided.

I am indeed--and have just sent the Luxury Link sign-up (that promises a $150 gift certificate with it) to a bunch of friends. We're thinking of trips we might even take together. I'm sold.
