06-03-2011, 11:47 AMbradio, let me assure you of something. I will continue to blast your postings about Luxury Link and their lack of service. I see that you also go out of your way to post the same crap on other sites as well. It really sounds like you are on happy when your are expressing your unhappiness about Luxury Link. The odds really don't stack up in favor of your position. The "pros" regarding Luxury Link expereinces simply over shadow the 'cons."
If you feel like the 'dog' has bitten you at Luxury Link, then quit sticking your hand in the cage . Go find another place to complain. We have no interest. Simple. Get it?

Hi brado and jerrilroberts,
I think you are outnumbered here. Most of us have had nothing but good experiences with LL, and LL has taken care of our problems when there were any, which doesn't happen very often, in my experience. In most cases, LL has bent over backwards to help. If you think you can do better elsewhere, go for it, after all, that is part of doing your homework....
I hope Alia can help you with your complaints, but really, nobody likes to hear you go on and on and on.... It's like beating a dead horse....

06-04-2011, 07:41 PMI have bought many packages from LL over the years, including a $25K cruise, and have always been very impressed with their service. No issues whatsoever! In the last two months however, I had a great deal of trouble booking a package that I bought to the W Hotel Barcelona. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but my preferences were not submitted to the hotel two months ago, then later they were submitted and ignored by the hotel, then I was directed to deal with the hotel directly myself which didn't work. Finally, I must thank a very nice concierge (I'm sorry I forget her name), who just this last week, listened to my experience, and managed to fix it by securing for me sold-out dates, all in under 20 mins!! I am so thankful to her!!

Hi Krista from Canada,
We have booked the same package at the W Hotel Barcelona. Since we needed specific dates in October to coincide with a transatlantic crossing afterwards, I contacted the hotel, the person who handles LL packages, and she assured me there was space available. Then I bid on the package and got it. Dena Vojdany, at the LL Travel Concierge service was extremely helpful and locked in the dates for us. It all went without a hitch and I too am most grateful to Dena at the LL Concierge Service for securing the dates for us.

Just back from a great LL package at Paradise Point in San Diego. Before booking our trip - as I was working to match up my dates with a Royal Caribbean cruise back up the coast to Canada - I called the property to check availability and learned that I could not get the exact dates I wanted. They did have availability if I shifted my request just one day earlier. When I submitted my requested dates through LL I figured I had nothing to lose and put in my original dates as my first request, with the 1 day shifted date as my second request. Voila~ I got my first request that I thought was not available!
Moral of the story.....even if the property says it is not available, don't be afraid to try anyway through your LL request. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You might just get your first choice like I did. Thank you LL!

Hi Shy,
Glad LL came through with the dates you wanted. What ship of the Royal Caribbean fleet were you booked on? We will be taking the Royal Caribbean, Liberty of the Seas, back to Ft. Lauderdale from Barcelona this October.

Bradio,
I am sorry you still had problems. Perhaps you are just the unlucky odd customer. The MGM hotel should not have given your wife any problems on checking in when she presented the voucher and confirmed reservation dates since the vouchers are fully paid for, and are transferable. Furthermore, she had evidence of the name change with her. It seems this time the fault lies more with the MGM check-in service than LL/FG.
I am glad you had at least a great experience with your African trip.
As with any company, LL is probably undergoing growing pains. Too bad it was you to be the unlucky one. I am surprised LL did not respond to your complaints and that you were unable to get customer/concierge service to answer your questions to your satisfaction or make amends to whatever your complaint was. There are millions of satisfied LL customers out there and your experience is certainly not the norm albeit just as unpleasant/annoying for you.
I hope you will have better luck next time. I hope your wife had a pleasant stay at the MGM nonetheless.
Kind Regards,
LL_Travelfan

02-05-2012, 10:13 AM(response to #35 post) so happy to hear this. we are wanting to book a stay at Paradise Point in San Diego. We wanted to stay over the 4th of July, but when called the hotel told us those dates aren't available. when asked about staying the following sun. through tues. they said dates were availalbe but wouldn't really say if they would approve those travel dates. it made me concerned of how they would treat us. they seemed to be negative and pretty unhelpful when knew i was using lux link. were you treated decently during your stay?
