I was checking out the auctions closing soon and Soneva Gili has came up but there is no minimum bid for it. just a $ sign in it's place. Where it states "mimimum bid must be higher than....." it is just the $ sign too. What does this mean? Is it an error on L.L.'s part or is there some other reason?

Sorry, just ignore this last question.I went back on to the auction and there now is a minimum bid. There definately wasn't one before...Honestly!!!! Unless it's the drink!!! I wish!!! More like i'm getting senile in my old age???

Ach lassie, tis definitrly noo the drink! I've seen the same thing miself a few times now. When I did, I assumed there had been no bid as yet and that therefore there was NO MINIMUM BID!!! I kept a watch on each item like that to see what would happen next. Lo and behold, within a few hours of first spotting the bare $ sign, a realbid amount (usually starting around $250)showed up. Eventually, each one of these mysterious auction items were sold at various higher prices. Still don't know what the original $ means. Hope the LL Moderators will revealm the puzzle soon.
