thanks for bringing this to our attention.

you ask a good question and my answer is that we will have to be creative outside the office and impose safeguards to deter and prevent irresponsible bidding.

marinegirl will probably be deactivated.

michael_choe_ll ....is marinegirl a new participant? She may be more inexperienced than irresponsible in fact. Strange to see the two "out of bounds" bids by her. In this case do you send an email to marinegirl and ask what she is doing?

yes, marinegirl is a new registrant.

we typically call people about suspect bid amounts.

the 2 out of bounds bids make me suspect irresponsibility rather than inexperience. 1 bid could be an innocent mistake, 2 suspect bids are probably not so innocent (in my opinion).

omegaet and michael, I just noticed this auction malfunction or I guess it is really a bidder malfunction. Sure makes a mess of things for people who seriously wanted to participate in this auction over the weekend.

And I am still waiting for the clues to guess the location!!!
