What is the best way to post a trip review?
I am planning on writing about the 3 LL trips we will be doing in early March - since the VIP blogs are not easy to find these days on here, what /where do you think would be the best spot to post = just start a new thread in the destination section? Ideas?
I have not seen any articles about recent trips on here recently so I am curious where folks are posting the info on their travels

[email protected]....I am an eternal optimist and believe during the next several months, if not sooner, the IT wizards at Luxury Link with find the time to do more tweaking with the community....and I believe one the tweaks will be more obvious and easier access to the VIP Blogs.
I continue to write and post in the Blog section, even though it can be complicated for others to follow the path. I prefer posting in the Blog section, since I believe it is the appropriate place to editorialize and pontificate on specific travel experiences as well as other remotely related subjects (at least these points were originally outlined by Jono Hart when he announced the establishment of the Blogs).
If by the time you have completed your upcoming trips, changes have not happening, by all means, just pick the General Forum, start a new Thread and write, write, write!- Ω -

DHD--
I posted my Africa hotel reviews under Africa. Small mention of previously active CM, jashermd, who got me interested in safaris posted in my blog, tho.
I have to go back and find your posts about your March Mexico trip because that may be our choice for using the special 15% discount. (keep wondering why that deal refers to One Turkey Community Member, tho....)"wherever you go, there you are"

The VIP blogs can only be accessed by clicking on a particular members name so if you have no idea that a member has written something, you would have to periodically click on everyone's name to see if they have written a new blog - very frustrating to say the least! If not easily accessible by March, I will just post in the destination section

i say post them in 'general travel q and a' and start a new thread. i think q and a gets the most views.
or whatever is convenient for you.

My opinion would be to post a notice in either Gen Q/A or Tips saying that you have a review in the correct geographical category. There are people who want to just look for info on Africa or Europe postings etc. At least you'd catch more members' attention.

hi d,
Just my two cents worth, but I would post under your blog, and put a short notice in the q&a section advising the community where they can find your travelogs/reviews.
Have a fun trip

If that's what you end up doing, please post the link to your blog since new members would have no clue how to find it as it stands. Most seasoned members wouldn't bother trying to read our blogs any more. I think it makes more sense to put it in the destination category, like other travel forums.

Putting the link to the notice is a good idea. It really is hard to find the new blogs these days. LL really should really do something about this feature to make it more available.
