What is the "Concierge Service"?

On a separate note,

I've been trying to book a room at Loreale Grande in Jo'burg.They have a special AMEx offer there just now.

Emailled them 5 times now looking for info with no reply .When i was emailling them a couple of weeks ago,they would reply in minutes.

Why don't they want my money?Boo hoo

Hi S....For the concierge service, you can call LL and ask for any of the group if you need to book a hotel or need help with booking your package. They are so helpful!



Yuck...maybe they have't replied because it is a holiday season and they are overwhelmed??? (no excuse though). Also, maybe their computers are down? (again, probably not however, some properties in the Caribbean and Central America do have this happen periodically.) Check their website, look for the general manager or concierge, and try the email to them. Just a suggestion.

snapyou--are you just overnighting for JNB connections? we're doing similar in Sept but since we'll have a car to get to our lodge, we're going back to Misty Hills (half hour out from OR Tambo Airport) They have one of the most fabulous boma-style restaurants called the Carnivore. You can guess their specialty! Do you mean the D'Oreale Hotel? If you have the Amex/website link, please shoot it over on a PM--much appreciated.
