why can't we add pictures on our blogs and posts?

Are we ever going to be able to add pictures to our blogs and posts - I just wrote an article in the blogs section and would have loved to add a picture! There is an uploader and my picture was within the size limits and when I did "upload" it just said upload failed ;-(

Denise, previously, LL used an outside company, Social Customer Solutions That Deliver Real Business Results - Lithium for their VIP Community platform. When the change was made to bring the community inside, we have obviously lost the ability to post our own photos. Really too bad. Possibly this matter will be addressed in the future. I really do feel personal photos can enhance the writings. I enjoyed sharing my photographic perspective in many of my early blog postings.

I do think that there is a good chance that LL will put the picture capability back into the program with these new changes. I guess they just haven't gotten to it yet since they are still busy with the actual website. I agree with Omegaet that photos do enhance the writings. I also used many of them in my earlier posts, and I do hope we will get them back.

The LL team is able to post photos. We can see some great photos on the Mystery Auction section. I think it is probably able to be done but not by us.

Hi bonniejoy03 and Community,

I am able to post photos using a photo link and an image code. You would have to use a photo uploading site (i.e. Photobucket) in order to get a link for your images. Then use the following code:

[IMG]link[/IMG]

Try it out and feel free to email me if you're still having problems.

This is just a test trying to copy a picture of our Stubai Alps trip in Austria....
Well Katie, here goes nothing, it wouldn't let me do it... There has to be an easier way. Under the old system, it worked just great.

The picture of MacKenzie looks great. Did you upload this picture to Photobucket? I tried it with Picasa, and this did not work for me. Great, you figured out how to do it!
