All-inclusive getaway, need suggestions

Hi everyone, my husband of 24 years and I are looking for an all-inclusive for an anniversary trip in April. We are considering La Romana, Tulum, or any other place with a beautiful beach with clear water. I'm not able to do much walking so we'd really like a place that has pool and beach service, at least for drinks. Any suggestions? I see on LL that there is "buy now" option for Dreams La Romana for 2, for around 1500. Can that be right? 7 nights for 2 ?

You might consider Hacienda Tres Rios AI--Oskar isachefthere and he's fantastic! I'm not sure about April but can say early May is great--low occupancy. Pool service and beach beds along with stuff to do on the property--kayak, snorkel or just relaxing tours of he massive grounds--it's their own ecopark w/3 rivers! And few teens around. Very little commotion at night (good for us) No hogging chairs. We only do 4 nts--7 might put me in a food/bev coma! See reviews in Mexico threads. We've been 3 times--might be going in 2 wks--undecided....
La Romana--hmm...keep in mind that DR resorts are classed one star higher than they should be in relation to other carib/Mex resorts.(IMHO) Dreams chain is barely discounted on LL. Go for the best discount and the most you can afford when buying AI package--especiall6y DR. Just my observations of staying at about a dozen including some in DR.
